  1. 3 or 4 tidy hawkeye wagons in ayrshire, loads of classic wagons as well.
  2. Having lost 2 friends this year in a RTA then all I can say is I agree whole heartedly with what Alan says. There is a time and place for a bit of fun AND remeber people "SEATBELTS." They do save lives. Fact : 3 in the car , 1 wearing a seat belt 1 survives with very minor injuries. Just wish Stevie & Bert had worn them. CLUNK CLICK EVERY TRIP Safe driving over the festive season people. Scotty
  3. When I used to have my old T5 all the young drivers we would slow down when I sat behind them even though the motor was green and the saloon. For an automatic it could shift though !
  4. RMS do some pretty wild exhaust systems.never heard any complaints but not sure about the 'gass flowed' side of things if your looking for pure performance.
  5. Went for 18s myself.Love the look but it does affect the handling and accelleration IMHO. But its all down to personal taste. Do you want the bling look or the blinding performance. Personally Im thinking of going for a set of lightweight 17s cause I miss the sharpness of the original lightweight 16s but do want some looks.
  6. Saw this on Flee-bay the day. Anyone got an opinion on it or is it just a gimnick? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SUBARU-INTERCOOLER-T...1QQcmdZViewItem
  7. Wilky,I was speaking to AlanG last week about finding someone to fix my straight cut box.He suggested to speak Neil Engineering in Glengarnock as he says these boys know their stuff when it comes down to non standard gearboxes. Hope that may be of some help. Scotty
  8. Replaced my MAF on MY97 STI and it cost £280.Was told couldn't purchase housing and sensor seperate (as Davie D says). Expensive but my warranty paid for it.As for fitting a piece of p%*h to fit mate, then its just a case of resetting the ECU.
  9. Intrested in a price for a set of rer drop links for a classic mate.
  10. Alright Steve, did you get home alright with the burst brake pipe during the September run?
  11. This you getting close to changing the disc's mate ??[][]
  12. Bought my motor from there. To be honest from what Ive heard from others ive been lucky with my motor. However the aftersales was shocking and the warranty that i took an extended 6 months on wasn't worth the paper it was written on (I had to use trading standards to get the warranty cover increased to an acceptable level.) These are my personal opinions from my experience with K-T-C. PM if you want anymore info on them mate. Scotty
  13. Davie from what i've been told the classics suffer from loud tappets after about 60K.They aint self adjusting so would need some one like Greers to do them (im waiting to get a price of Bill to get mine set).
  14. Nice vid mate. And all totally legal driving !![]
  15. Minted mate,[] don't like going into a job blind when there aint a lot of time!
  16. Anyone know how easy it is to replace the lower ball joint on the lower suspension arm on a classic? The car failed its MOT today for a worn ball joint and Ive got from 8.30am tomorrow (when i get the ball joint) to 1pm to get the ball joint fitted and it back up to the garage for the retest.
