Sounds like back pressure mate caused by worn piston ring / nackered piston.I maybe wrong (hopefully for you) but as Dan says take it back to the garage you bought it from.If they start to mess you about contact Trading Standars and they'll help you out.Hope you get it sorted mate.

Quality day mate even without my motor.Family loved it and so did everyone else i spoke to.

Just want to say a big thanks to Bill,Colin and Jason up at Greersports for getting my gearbox issue sorted and getting the motor back on the road after a very stressful 6 weeks. I know it turned into a total ball ache of a job but with their patience (i dare say tested to the limits) and knowledge of what would and wouldn't work the motor is back on the road.[] Also a big thanks to Wullie (WRC No1) for the contact that resulted in me sourcing the parts to get it back on the road.Cheers mate. I was grinning form ear to ear the night while out on a wee run,the first for some time.
