t5nyw
I'm really sad Greg Gallivan he posts on here a Scooby g had a brain hemorhage on the weekend and is in the Queen Elizabeth hospital Brum and is quite Poorly. Greg is married to Ali and had a Scoob for many years but after being Hijacked in Brum and badly hurt he sold the Scoob and bought a Red Elise. He has attended many meets and Car Shows over the years, so well know. My best wishes go to his wife at this worrying time Tony. If any of you would like his address to send him a Card please PM me Link to comment

t5nyw
Just a quick update " The operation yeterday to stop the bleeding in the brain was a success. He is currently in an induced coma to settle him down. They are gradually reducing the medication to bring him out of the coma. He reactes to a pinch, which is a good sign. Only time will tell at the moment" Link to comment

Plug
Although I don't know Greg I'm very sad to hear this. I've been in the situation myself, just over 3 years ago my then girlfriend suffered a brain haemorrhage. I came home after work and found her collapsed, fortunately it hadn't long happened, The emergency services were on the case quickly and after a CT scan at the local hospital confirming what had happened she was transferred to a specialist neuro unit within hours. I really cannot praise the staff at the neuro unit highly enough, it was a very scary time for all involved but after possibly the longest month of our lives - she had to have the aneurism clipped, which involved a crainiotomy - she was released and has since made a full recovery. So although it feels like the end of the world at the time, it's not necessarily the case. I truly hope Greg and Alison have a similarly successful outcome. And I refer to her as my then girlfriend, because that little incident made me get off my backside and put a ring on her finger, and for the last 2-1/2 years I've been referring to her as my "wife". Clouds and silver linings and all that. Cheers, Plug Link to comment
