I had the T1R's on my last car and i wasn't too impressed with them tbh. I've heard folk saying the T1's are softer and the R's wear better but like everything..when you gain something , you loose something elsewhere. Depends what your going to use them for..?

I got a set from Halfrauds that I had to alter slightly to do the job but most folk use MDF for the spacers Not sure about the newer cars though.. Someone will help you out shortly I would think

The only problem i had when I replaced the front ones on my classic was the depth of the new ones. They can't be too deep or they'll hit the window but a set of spacers will do the job nicely ( if you need them)

I had a similar problem buddy. I removed the r/cover to find one of the plastic wedge (thingys) had cracked. Common problem but easy to fix. I got the kit from the main dealers for a few quid.
