If your car is pre MY99 you'll need to switch ECU's if you want it mapped. The Apex'i Power FC is a popular choice and Andy maps/supplies these too. Get a de-cat on there first though along with a decent panel filter.

I've just checked and my BF Defis (boost/oil/fuel pressure & CU2) cost £420 and i fitted them myself. Got them from a bloke on eBay but this was a while back now. His email was jdminxs@msn.com but i've no idea if he's still trading. Sounds like they're still available for similar money on there anyway.

I always wanted to be in a rock and roll band. [H] Ten years later i find myself working on an oil rig.... By some fluke i managed to get very good grades at school and started Uni but got bored and ended up doing an apprenticeship which landed me a good job offshore. Still have guitars cluttering up the house but sadly they do more dust collecting than anything else these days. []

Yes WP use Dastek also. I should add my WP run was done two days after the JP run (the Monday after the Saturday). It was also done minus the TMIC water-spray as Wallace use a different fan setup so bonnet is open during the run. Ross, sounds all-too similar mate! You'll remember with the Fridge V1 when i started aiming for 300bhp, gaining something like 16bhp over a proven 260bhp with FETD05/PFC/Andy-map (amongst plenty of other things) before adding some more bits to get to the 300. I'm surprised yours isn't running more on a front-mount at 1.45bar, did you see if it made peak boost on the rollers?

Funny, the last time an Evo arrived at an SIDC RR day this happened... [] It'll be interesting to see the difference in readings between rollers with your car Craig. Mine dropped from 302.5bhp at Japerformance to 283.2bhp at Wallace Performance. I've never lost any sleep over it although it's the Japerformance figure which gets quoted lol.

I'm not too bothered about the discs Colin, whichever is cheapest lol. There's plus points to both like you've said so i'm happy to go with the flow.

[H] Nobody's perfect but it makes a refreshing change from those who like to jump on the bandwagon without first understanding the facts.
