  1. Can you guess what it is yet? Couldn't find a 205 GTi in decent nick locally so bought one of these instead. My second one. The not so good bits... Seat wear not too bad for the mileage. In front on my (first!) house. I actually run the Cavalier Turbo Owners Register so am naturally a little more enthusiastic about these than most people. Still quite happy with the purchase of my second Cav Turbo. 102,000 miles, working 4wd (no, really!) and all the other crap mentioned in the title.
  2. SOLD And looking damn fine on their new ride too.
  3. Still very much available for the time being.
  4. What's 13mm between friends? Most probably going offline for a few days as of tomorrow. Please call 07740 353948 if you're interested.
  5. Grant, you're asking alot of me now dude. Go out to the garage and check the offset? STOP PRESS: just found the receipt - ET48.
  6. Seeing as these are just sitting in my garage doing naff all right now i figure it may be best to get rid of them. In my opinion they're still the best looking wheel (in the best size) you can fit to a Classic Impreza. Cost me £700 for the bare wheels a year ago, there's £400 worth of Toyos (215/35R18) on them now and they all still have loads of life left in them. One rim has a very minor graze from a kerb, not even worth photographing. They rubbed slighty under hard cornering in my -50mm H&R sprung car. Who's going to give me £800?
  7. Cheers Jools, i'm thinking it over right now. Lil' sis has come up trumps in the meantime by getting me insured on her Focus (gotta love the family ) but the situation is far from ideal.
  8. When i had my cambelt service (95,000) mile service done there i just buggered off to Inverness for the day (they'll give you a courtesy car). At the time the price couldn't be beaten considering they use genuine parts and are a reputable outfit.
  9. It usually isn't too hard to get a group buy going on some Motul with Alyn at AS Performance. Simbo (David Sim) is the man to see.
  10. I can help you out with some JECS 440's or Denso 550's right now Grant. You've got my email if you need anything mate.
  11. At that price i'm tempted to buy them myself. Already got half a Scooby in my bedroom though. BTTT for you Kev.
  12. I used Glenburgie for all my servicing. Cheap to boot.
  13. Was holding out for a car before i went offshore. Just got back and been let down so have no transport. Move into new house on Monday and i really need transport by then. Any locals know of any interesting forms of transport available for < £500? Absolutely fookall in Scot Ads. Next step is flying to bloody England... PS: can you say transport?
  14. New platform > new rota = scunnered once more. Balls. Not to mention the fact i don't even have transport right now...
  15. Hi Martyn, i'm from Cuminestown and the GF stays in the Meadows in Turriff - can't say i've seen you about yet. Soon to be moving into my own place in bonnie Turra' however so i'm sure we'll bump into each other then. Anyway, i don't know if you'll have seen me but i've just sold this... It won't be too long before i'm back in something altogether more tasty.
  16. I'd use Turriff Tyres, been doing it years and will do it better than most locally. Not sure what the standard V5TR settings are but you'll want to find them out becuase they will straighten all the wheels unless you tell them otherwise.
  17. I felt a wee twang. It feels the right time though. Too many visits from the Police lately, no more Optimax in my local town (would have meant remap) and a house purchase looming. Not to mention the fact i'd had the car 2.5 years and gone as far as was realistic with it. I'm pleased it's gone to a good lad, that i got a decent price for it and had a relatively easy sale.
  18. Before i even bought the car there were two handles i seemed to know automatically. The Dougster and Teknopete. Good to see you old dudes both still mixing it up.
  19. I actually sent you an email Lindsay. Chap from Bo'ness, saw it on Piston Heads.
