  1. Scumbags! One of the reasons I left the UK! [8o|]
  2. Wow, that's really tough to choose - only 3 from the supercar category is impossible, it pains me to leave out: Ferrari F40 Porsche GT Koenigsoenigsoenigsoenigsoenigsoenigsoenigsoenigsoenigsegg [] So here's my final top 10: 1. Pagani Zonda 2. Macca F1 3. Aston V8 Vantage 4. Scooby RB5 PPP (Far better than the overproduced P1 []) 5. Lotus Elise S2 6. Audi RS2 (None of this fat boy RS4 nonsense!!) 7. Bugatti EB110 (4WD, quad turbo, >200mph - how can it not make the top 10) 8. Lancia Delta Integrale 9. Escort Cosworth 10. Evo VI Makinen Edition
  3. It probably won't look too much like that, but also not too far off either! I get the impression that manufacturers secretly release these sorts of pictures to guauge public reaction so they can make any changes as necessary. The closer the car gets to final release, the more accurate the pictures will get!
  4. It has been proved! This is just the old development track which is now open to tourists! The only current installation though is for an airport link in China I think! Very tragic accident though and echos of a similar rail accident in Germany a couple of years ago where a train hit a maintenance car!
  5. Me thinks prodive spending more time on the new hatchback Scooby for next year than this year's car!!!
  6. You know, I never even thought about taking a picture while doing 150mph on the Autobahn! What a fantastic idea - watch this space [][]
  7. Quote from Petter Solberg on rally radio after SS8: "I'm so luck to have a works contract!" [][][] I remember after Petters huge crash on Rally Germany a couple of years ago, Christy Thompson told me "bad luck always comes in threes, and that's the third one!". Petter then went on to win rally Japan!!! Since then, Subaru seem to have either: a) Broken the bad luck in 3's rule or Re-classified the levels of bad luck!
  8. I have a squaddie mate who had a tattoo of some blokes head on his arm - He got it done when he was pi$$ed and had no idea who it was supposed to be! [] After much pi$$ taking, he eventually got it changed, supposedly to a Scottish thistle, but it looked more like a cabbage!! [8-)]
  9. He probably sold it to someone else - playing two buyers off against each other! Out of order if you ask me!
  10. Arn't the Prodive alignment settings for use with the Prodrive spring kit which lowers the ride slightly, thus having incorrect geometry!? Best thing I've found to dial out understeer is to fit a stiffer rear ARB!
  11. This monster was just crawling up my window at work!
  12. Shame they don't have a for-sale section, I'm seriously tempted by a few of those!!! [][+o(]
  13. 18.5 seems OK for a car thats not been remapped. 9 months old, is that a 2.5 then! Could also explain higher MPG than 2.0!
  14. I like the 22B kit, but seriously not liking those wheels [+o(]
  15. It was in Germany since about 2001/02 [] He's the graph I plotted comparing MPG combined, before and after after remap with data since June 2003 (2003MY STi), remap was done in Mid Feb 2005. I pretty much exlusively use V-Power, there's no more than 2 tanks in a row without V-Power over that time! I can't explain November! December I took the car back to the UK over Christmas before it was tuned, but not since, so boosted economy due to long Motorway driving. Feb is mostly driving on Snow so economy drops significantly!
  16. Probably been posted before, but seriously cool [H]
  17. Maybe your ECU doesn't know what to do with all those octain's [] I heard somewhere that the EU ECU's are only mapped upto 98RON. I had mine remapped with V-Power a couple of years ago and get 2 or 3 MPG's more. Also, you should consider the seasonal effect. My economy drops considerably when its warm - presumably because I drive faster on warm sticky tarmac []
  18. Nice pictures Aston! [] Any more??? Shame I couldn't make it, but the wedding was also good... just the day after that wasn't! [+o(] Lol, I'm quite fond of the girls at lake Constance too! []
  19. Just read the Evo article last night - Very nice motor! But getting on for £45K after the mandatory [] upgrades, just too much for a Scooby IMHO!
  20. LOL, about time you got some real fuel! I've been using it for about four years!
  21. There is a big difference between a bankers draft or bank transfer and a cheque! What usually happens with this scam is the cheque is paid in and clears and you have the money, then a couple of weeks later the bank finds a problem with the cheque and takes the money back from your account, by which time you have no car and no way to get your money back! Its all to do with the cheque clearing process in the UK, cheques are cleared provisionally after three days, then get fully authorised at a later date (or something like that!) Don't accept cash as the cash could be equally dodgy! The only way is bankers draft or bank transfer, and you should get a bankers draft validated by your bank before handing over the keys!
