For once I'm actually at work early enough to say Good Morning [] Nice and sunny here in South Germany, but forcast for rain later and I see some coulds on the horizon []

Still no problems here and I've been slightly faster than 120mph a few times in the last couple of weeks [] My bonnet has always lifted 10mm or so at high speeds. The most worrying is when your hitting the dirty air from the car in front and the bonnet is shaking like mad! Never fails though! I'm also driving on Autobahns rather than a track, so the speeds are more sustained and the roads are more bumpy! Just make sure your bonnet is closed properly! ...and you're sure you're not pulling the bonnet release catch instead of pressing the IC spray button []

I live by a f***** huge lake (to put in scale, its wider than lake Windermeer is long!), so the diving is pretty good here (apparently!). There is supposed to be quite a few ship wrecks of varying sizes (mostly fishing boats). There's also a helicopter somewhere, but thats below 140m, so I doubt I'll be getting to that anytime soon! All I've seen so far though is a tent, a bathtub, a chef with a blackboard advertising todays special as "Fish" and three dwarfs! Oh and quite a few fish too! []

Funny that, I just passed mine a couple of weeks ago! Picked up the card tonight! I only got 96% though, although I did do the test in German so I think I should get bonus points for that

I've had 249kmh (~150mph) indicated by GPS in my 2003MY STi and no problem! Have regularly reached similar (higher?) speeds on the Autobahn and its always OK. There is some bonnet lift, particularly when trailing someone at high speeds (>120mph), but it always stays put! My guess would be that to gain Euro type approval, the bonnet catch has to hold at sustained autobahn speeds (certainly it wouldn't get German TÜV approval otherwise), so I really don't think you need to worry about it in the UK - even if you are being naugty []

Yeah, they were definately less draconian than previous years! Also, not forgetting all the free parking we got using the "We're Subaru VIP, we don't have to pay!" blag [] Still, the stage marshalling was as abismal as usual! I don't know where they find them, but they have absolutely no idea about what a mashall's job is - they just seem to think they're there to have the best spectator spots! They just have whistles to make them look more official! [:@]

Happens to me when its cold and damp, I just leave it in the Garage overnight with the handbrake off and in 1st gear and don't get any problems!

My dealer did loan me, for free, a Forrester from 6th Jan to 2 Feb while I was waiting for my STi 8 last year! Although I did negociate this when buying the car as I knew I would not have the car from the beginning of Jan and he didn't know when the STi would arrive!
