  2. Ah ok, not very good mobile tyre fitter then - Pumpherston to Bathgate is hardly a long way!! The guys across the road said if you were stuck to call as they are too busy now but may be able to do something later. I'll keep an eye on my PMs, if you need them gimme a shout.
  3. Tried these guys? http://www.yell.com/b/H+Mobile+Tyres-Tyres...3765/index.html I'll ask the guys across the road from us here as they do Truck tyres but may know someone who can come to you.
  4. Very nice, I always loved that colour after seeing my first RB5 - I am back in a Scoob but it's a GX I really want a turbo again. Anyway glad to see someone is back in the fold again
  5. If you guys are looking for good servers let me know as I am part of The Older Gamers (TOG) community and we have an EU division for BFBC2 and a few good servers to play on. PC that is Been playing on and off this weekend and it's awesome altho a tad frustrating when rank 20+ guys join and annihilate you with their superior weaponry and gadgets/healthpacks/lightweight combat armour I also found the Multiplay servers are pretty good for connection speed - nice low pings and smooth gameplay...the game just looks and sounds fecking amazing...with headphones it's a blast! We also use Teamspeak 3 so we can talk too - really makes a difference in team games or MMOs. Also found this if you are used to CoD
  6. I'm looking for people near me for the same reason - I am in the West Lothian area but I am looking for a cycle rack for my newage wagon so I can take it to Glentress etc
  7. I don't personally like them - but I do like the concept - the thing is, if you see it in a showcar quality Dodge Viper with a stunning engine you'd think it was cool - but what will happen is they will end up in Chavved up corsas and various hot hatches and that will cheapen them - not that they are cheap!! lol
  8. I saw this down at MacArthur Glen today too - 53 plate and nice proper scooby sounding exhaust btw Mrs Sleiper - just wave - you'll soon get to know who waves back and who doesn't! There's one I have seen about for a few years with CC in the private reg and he's never waved even tho I have chatted to him outside the shops one day when I was planning to get a Scoob myself.
  9. This is a post from another forum I am on. I made sure there is no mention of it so it's NOT an advert! These are mental! Glass Radiator Pipes Coming Soon This is a UK exclusive and most definitely a Club Shop exclusive. Made from hardened Pyrex glass they are tougher than silicone hose. Simply cut your existing hose and replace with the glass inserts. Available as just the top hose, just the bottom hose or both. Available with or without LEDs. Single hose: £140 Both hoses: £200 We can also supply 5l of coolant in a choice of colours. Halfords only sells pink coolant! Heres some amazing effects you can create with the LEDs and coloured anti-freeze/coolant. Action videos Don't think they are strong? I sat the car on one.
  10. http://www.youtube.com/user/eavision?v=ixm...d%20company%202 Get this - I have been playing the beta (on PC) for the last 3 weeks and it is feckin amazing!! Blows COD out the water and that may surprise a lot of you! Watch the vids in HD and full screen - the game looks just like in the vids and is sooooo much fun - a total rush The recent PC Beta was not even the hi-res textures and it really impressed me (I'm coming for 17yrs of playing FPS games amongst many others!) There's a guy doing a live stream of it just now http://www.xfire.com/live_video/andykas/
  11. The DS2500s are amazing and once bedded in you really will notice a difference.
  12. GOD FORCED TO RECALL HUMANS There was bad news for God this week as the well-known deity was forced to recall thousands of examples of His popular Human Being after reports that the model could be prone to unexpected attacks of unbelievable stupidity. Initial reports of blithering idiocy emerged from the United States last year but these were thought to be isolated incidents caused by people who are so thick that if a floormat was touching their accelerator pedal would prefer to scream ‘Aaaaaaargh’ until they drove into a river rather than simply moving the mat backwards with their foot. However, it now seems the monumental stupidity is more widespread and may cause some Human Beings to decide that the best course of action in the event of being in a car with a throttle that won’t release is to telephone someone rather than to, for example, put the ******* car into neutral and bring it to a halt using the brakes as normal. Jesus Christ, a member of the original God family who now runs his Father’s business, is expected to make a full statement shortly. In the meantime, the Archbishop of Canterbury, a senior manager at God’s UK operation, has told reporters that there are almost certainly Human Beings here in Britain that will need to be examined for signs of being so sodding thick that they probably shouldn’t have a driving licence in the first place. “It’s too early to say how this might affect people in the UK,” Mr Canterbury is quoted as saying. “But we have every reason to believe that there are some Human Beings that may being so brain fartingly stupid that if the throttle in their car became stuck, they would never think simply to depress the clutch and coast to a halt”. However, it is understood that God’s representatives in the UK are keen to manage any recall as quickly and efficiently as possible, thereby minimising the number of mithering suburban ***** who ring in to the Jeremy Vine show on Radio 2 and witter on about how they’re too scared to drive their Yaris to such a blindingly crass degree that listeners eventually start to get a sense of what it would be like if the editor of the Daily Mail did a stool into a syringe and then used it to inject vile reactionary **** into their ears. As God seeks to clarify the extent of the stupidity problem and establish how many Human Beings will need to be recalled, theologians have been assessing just what has caused the problem of quite extraordinarily thick behaviour in the first place. “I suspect the problem lies in the rather clever engineering God has given the Human Being,” noted Dr Peter Peter **** of St Gobain College, Oxford. “The modern Human Being is actually remarkably durable and reliable, capable of lasting well over 80 years, but among its clever systems is something called Cognitive Reasoning. Normally this works very well, but over time Human Beings get used to being spoon fed blindingly obvious information such as those signs on motorways that say ‘fog’, and eventually they can just give up trying to have any discernment or ability to think rationally. Basically, the Human Being becomes a stupid moron. Hence the popularly of ITV’s Loose Women”.
  13. Keep seeing this in my street and I'd like you to stop coming in and reminding me of my newage which I recently sold - at least turn the engine off so I don't have to hear the burble I miss
  14. Ditto - still got a scooby but non turbo GX - things are looking up tho and there may be a new job in the offing - if I get it I'll be straight back out and picking up a blobeye again
  15. With all the sadness and trauma going on in the world at the moment, it is worth reflecting on the death of a very important person, which almost went unnoticed last week. Larry LaPrise, the man who wrote "The Hokey Cokey", died peacefully at age 93. The most traumatic part for his family was getting him into the coffin. They put his left leg in. And then the trouble started
  16. Wow.... Some footballer will buy that
  17. http://www.verbatim.jp/senshuken/ Amazing web design and great fun game too. Such a clever idea.
  18. I would say the problem is not many people have Photoshop Bearing in mind it is £630 just now. (Who said Pirate Bay??!) I use it all day long at work as stum450n does but maybe someone who uses or has Photoshop Elements can tell us if it has similar options - may be a better/cheaper option for some of you. Also the basic concept of selecting with the lasso and using Hue/Saturation or similar to change colour is universal so should work in other apps you may have. Check Picasa or Gimp for free image editing apps.
  19. Nice shot and really like that style of processing. Good job m8
  20. http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vis...ndows-computer/ I use a USB solution but this may help you initially. I also have a boot disk which can load WinPE up which is basic version of windows that runs in memory alone - i.e you don't even need a HD in the machine - also great because it runs windows utils too so you can use HD scanners/memory checks and other diagnostic tools
  21. If you can get it to me in Broxburn at my work - I'd have a look at it for you - have you tried reinstalling completely? (after backing up your data which is no problem if you need it done) A good way to test it is to download and burn one of those operating systems which run from CD - usually a flavour of Unix/Linux - it sounds complicated but it's a very simple way to test if the hardware is the issue or just Windows itself. I have fixed a few PC's for people on here and I understand if you want some confirmation I know what I am doing I maintain all the PCs and built the network for 25 PC's and Macs in our offices and had a PC repair co. for 2 yrs
  22. I love reading replies like this where the person eventually answers their own question just by typing it down and realising as they go
  23. Have a look here for info: http://www.scoobypedia.co.uk/index.php/Sid...SpecialEditions
  24. As subject - She is planning to drive up there and although it's bad in our drives etc the main roads here are fine - a member on Type-R Scotland said it's clear to Tyndrum so we are just trying to find some first hand advice on further up. Much appreciated
