  1. Crikey - AGRA charged me a lot more to have mine lightened AND BALANCED. Always felt it was worth the extra money to balance it as you don't want an "off-centre inertia effect" (right kind of description?) on the flywheel. Russell
  2. UK car or import? Relevant question as the UK car need to have the CAM ond CRANK sensor wiring into ECU swapped whereas the WRX STi does not. Worth thinking about when checking the ECU. Russell
  3. I'll assume a little mickey taking there, but glad I could help you out JC Russell
  4. Leave the wiring plugged into the Subaru Boost Control Solenoid - ECU thinks it is fubar as it is not seeing a signal? Remember this Boost Controller will only give you rock solid boost control - you can't go above the ECU's Fuel Cut setting. Russell
  5. Stephen, fraid not m8 (think that is a Glanza or a Starlet tbh), Pulsar is on hold (wifes orders) until the Scoob is finished (70% done now, I'll try to get some pictures up soon!)Russell
  6. Another definite satisfied customer of Scoot Douglas @ Motorwerks. He's done 5 of our cars and I wouldn't use anyone else tbh! Russell
  7. At this rate, I detect a GB coming on Russell
  8. Gus - we need 2 in actual fact as Ali and another customer want Sportscat 3" systems and all we now need are the Sportscat D/P'sCan you get Paul to PM me (or ALi37) with the cost for 2 shipped to AB51 5HH? Cheers! Russell
  9. I'll be home and I'm happy to volunteer my marshalling services John. Might even be happy enough to help set up the track and fences. Pulsar and Scoob may not be ready..........looks like the Porsche will get some track action this year Russell
  10. What piston letter? Look at the piston your replacing, it will have a letter stamped on it and you'll need to ensure you Subaru replacement has the same stamp. "R"
  11. PMSL - Like it John or the driveshaft cotter pins
  12. Got out onto the Ring tonight and.................................AWESOME Loads of the track has been resurfaced since I was last here and the place is even better than I remember it! Loads of pictures to follow including one with a BRAND NEW R35 Skyline getting out of shape on the track Russell
  13. JC - all the best m8, If Angie or I can do anything for Nicki and the kids whilst your in there let us know! Russell
  14. That's very true - Just ask Laura......................... she get nothing but abuse from him Just remember that if (READ AS MEANING WHEN ) you take it for a run .......switch off the Anti-lag and launch control. It's currently on and you tell this by the fact that the car runs at an idle of 1500rpm ( Ac!d ) so watch yersel. You'll also fry the new Head gaskets and stem seals I fitted to the car. THAT WILL NOT PLEASE ME!!!! Russell
  15. NO.....................17mm is engine Oil Plug. Gearbox is 21mm for both Classic and Newage. Russell
  16. PLEASE GOD - DO NOT USE THE SLICK 50 ENGINE TREATMENT! BAD NEWS ALL ROUND! Everything else is fine but NOT THE SLICK 50 ENGINE TREATMENT! Russell
  17. Andy.....................sorry m8 but your wrong there. On your car that is true but not on his 97 typeR. ONLY difference between 341 and 342 is the position on the inlet on the pump it is 180 degrees opposite to the other model hence either can be used on either age of scoob. Both of them use a 2-wire connector with a black plug on the end that plugs into the fuel pump. Pre-98 cars had the bigger-bodied fuel pump with ring connectors onto the + and - of the pump. You'll need to cut them and splice them onto the red and black wires on the new connector that comes with the kit. Don't worry about the fact it involves crimping wires BUT IF YOU ARE AT ALL UNSURE, GET AN EXPERT TO FIT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Russell
  18. 20. OK - so when are the Defi's and bits coming off yours? We doing it on Thursday? Russell (back 12 hours and all heck is breaking loose........and not only on this site!)
  21. 6-sided socket spanner and lots of WD40 works best on these tbh. Russell
  22. True - and I have no doubt this car of your will be spectaculaer and definitely something to watch at K/H...........and SSO.................and TOTB. Good luck to you too! Russell
