  1. Forgot he started doing these.................... well spotted John Lateral Performance - Baffled Sumps
  2. JOe - glad your happy m8, just remember to bring up the Service book next time your up
  3. Might find a Twin-Scroll Sump (on My06- 2.5's as well) that baffled a little difficult.................. PM John Felstead as he might be able to do one for you? Worth a try?
  4. John Felstead over on 22b.com does them............................. or Mark @ Lateral Performance stocks them Looking about £480 with a £60 refund for an exchange OE Sump.
  5. I be happy to put mine on put I do believe the AberdeenScoobies guys are looking to organise one in late November so it might be wiser to hang back unless your desperate to put it on the rollers. I might even put the SpecD on the rollers just for the heck of it.
  6. I am home at the moment m8 Russell
  7. Go and see Kev (Chief Mechanic) & Town and County Subaru - he'll see you right.
  8. Aftermarket mod. you can remove the OE Bias valve and gives more balanced braking. Fitting an adjustable Bias valve allows you to fine tune the raking to your desire.
  9. Adjust the Front/Rear Bias on the brake system.
  10. We use Revolution full 3" systems and D/P's - good exhausts (manufactured by Jetex)..... with a great discount too
  11. Finesse are also available but having had sets of wheels done by both places, I'd HIGHLY recommend Keith and his team at PPS Russell
  12. If you got a NEW 20G then Andy (AFAIK) grinds down the area on the Turbo the makes contact so it'll already have been done for you I've had issues with 20g's using OE uppipe and aftermarket (GT Spec and H&S) uppipe in the past so may not necessarily be that but thatks for the info
  13. TY754 boxes (MY98-) and TY756 (6-speed) boxes need the removal of a peice of the box where on of the mounting bolts for the box goes in. Use a Chisel and Hammer as its easier.... If it comes with the Newage Coolant pipework, there aren't any fitment issues there. Just make sure all holes (uppipe, Oil return, etc) are fully covered up before removing the peice of the box as you don't want metal, etc getting in there. 5 bolts for D/P to Turbo, 3 bolts for Turbo to U/P. Russell ps - if it is an with the old style housing on the 20g (polished flat area on the Compressor housing on the top right as you look at the Compresssor housing face-on). then chances are it is a large oulet nipple on the Compressor wheel for the Boost control. Make sure you fit the vacuum hose (make it 40cm as a precaution) BEFORE fitting the turbo as it is harder to install afterwards. Russel
  14. Is it a recent import? Has the 112MPH limiter been removed?
  15. I'm with John on this one................................ Mark at Lateral is your man.
  16. Jim King gets my vote - first class work and sets up A LOT OF Hillclimb/sprint cars suspension systems
  17. Callum - now pushing Tools so moved on a little from last time we met. The Aussies are good fun to work with but the old myth of them being hard gratfers is also bu114h!t. Majority of the are some of the slackest workers on the planet, more interested in beer and women than anything else. Still - beats working in India................................ just Stay safe m8! Russell ps - sorry for the off-topic Peter..................................... but I'm sure it'll be a while before a running report is available
  18. no m8 but I thought about sh@gging a wallaby....... Actually spent the Winter down here with the wife and daughter and absolutely loved it.................. pool in the back garden, beer in the fridge. My daughters swimming skills came on immensely whilst out there ( benefits of their "State Swim" program), she is now 3 and has the swimming skill of Inverurie 2 years older than her. I'd move in a heartbeat and live in OZ permanently................................................... but 54% tax on my payscale is a killer
  19. He probably was m8 but Mike said he was looking at a Hawkeye STi...............................
  20. Alan - never realised you were down here (I'm on a rig up off Barrow Island - Northern end of WA - for Amerada Hess) - you in or around Perth by chance? Couple of the guys on the rig run WRX's and they all seems amazed to read what we're doing to these cars on here as they are - as you rightly stated - screwed for any minor mod these days on a road car. 1/2 expected you to be in a Maloo actually....................................... or a Grange edtition HSV Russell
  21. Only on a WRX - STi has Alloy "Y" pipe and Red 90-degree pipe to Turbo Subaru dealer will confirm it WAS fitted by VIN ( not to say the seller hasn't flogged it and put a Standard ECU in it. TBH, save your money over standard and get it EcuTeK'ed
  22. Sadly there was a fatality onboard one of our Drillships in India so 1/2 the guys I was going to see had to go there so they cancelled it.
  23. Jim King gets my vote if you need a garage to do it..................................... although there are cheaper options
  24. GT35 on an Evo has a fast spoolup as the exhaust manifold has the turbo bolted right onto it (VERY SHORT PIPING) Donald's car has always been fast........................................ helps that he's a very capable driver too!
  25. 2.3 HKS fully forged engine and a GT35 for starters
