  1. Dunc and I will be coming down on the Saturday evening, camping, drinking, doing the "curry event" on Sunday and head up early on Monday so if you need us to pass by SW Motorsport to pick up bits, etc that you break on Saturday let me know. Chris - get onto 22b.com as Steve Darley (P20 SPD, Subaru team coordinator) has offered us all camping space at his farm, only a few miles from the event. Add you name to the growing list, it's going to be a lot of fun Russell
  2. Another thumbs up here for Steve @ SW Motorsport - first class man, first class service. Russell
  3. Frank - you are on form tonight m8
  4. AFAIK - the second one is involved with the AIR-CON ie if you don't have air-con, then you car only comes with 1 radiator fan.
  5. NOW THAT IS FUNNY! Should be down to see you guys next trip once the "elusive" RA is finally mapped
  6. Once again, big respect to the welding skills of "the weight challenged one" for welding on the bracket onto the "T" is no time at all. Also thanks to Steve for letting me drool over the car once again (loving the brakes) PLEASE TELL ME THE YOUNG CHAP WITH THE BMX DIDN'T END UP WIH ANOTHER "RUBBER GOATEE" LOL - That cracked me up, that really did. Hope to see you all soon (that includes you Frank). Russell ps Steve - tell your son the next time I'm down in the "4" (without the wife) - I'll take him out for a run
  7. Aberdeenshire (Inverurie/Kintore/Oldmeldrum areas) have consistently been in the top 4 best places in Scotland for house prices rising or staying steady, etc and are lovely places to reside. In Aberdeen I suppose Northfield/Summerhill/Torry/Tillydrone should be avoided - but only due to the minority of A**EHOLES that live there, most of the residents are decent folk. Russell (Aberdeenshire based, surprisingly)
  8. Well how come I got neither the car washed nor the tea made when I was down

  12. Only ones I have with me right now (in India) are the ones below: Spec D is STi with extras - Leather seats, Sat Nav (pointless piece of kit, took mine out), Foglights Mine has Roof Spoiler and Prodrive Rear spoiler (GB270-type) which weren't on Spec D
  13. Look at it this way the Hawkeye will cost an extra £185 a year in tax.................................................... £16 a month - WOOPEE! Its nothing. Buy a Hawkeye, they are amazing. (funnily enough, I'm selling my 56 Plate Spec D with 15K on it in Feb, looking for £13500 with 18's and BC Coilovers) Russell

  18. If the car idles OK and then still runs when the MAF is unplugged - MAF is screwed
  19. Spare 3-port Solenoids are easy to come by...... Apexi one has a faster reponse than Subaru 3-port but the Subaru one is still up to the task. Look to pay about £40 for one.
  20. that's a decent price tbh, CDB's are going for about £200-300.

  23. Thought the Innovate wideband was a 0-5v unit whereas the Zerosports and OE ECU need a narrowband 0-1v input to operate? Was the Wideband on th ecar when you bought it?
  24. G - standard ones are 10mm but as you want to run AVCS - it might be prudent to go bigger due to increased Flow to this area.. Mark's looking at doing 11mm and 12mm AFAIK. Email him and get his perspective on it.
