I gave you all the info you needed ref WP and you decided to use them instead of me for a certain TMIC installation (nothing to do with the engine blowing up)which ended up costing you a load more than if I had done it. I feel sorry for you with ref to what happened on this occasion but you were warned.
Did they sort you out with a new engine under their insurance or something?

ps - how is the STi8 TMIC running now?
I knew what you ment. (Wooosh) He's now sold the Evo 8 and gone for a 2.0TDi A4 Estate!![]
Fonzy - I know what you mean, I did a lot of work on his P1....it then got "screwed up" by a local "tuner" (it was audibly detting off boost!) and he then got an EVO 8. Imagine my surprise when I popped out to see Cal ( he just lives round the corner from Woosh), decided to see how Kev was...........to find the Audi on the driveway.
Getting old and finding the woman of your dreams does that eh KEV[]

Long term storage ( more than 6 months)...............................REMOVE all the fluids from the car (Oil, water, Clutch and Brake, etc)
REMEMBER TO REDO them once your taking the car out of storage!
Russell
John - if you need a spare car to do this, I am sure that Mark (Power Junkie) can get a hold of my car and take it up there. It is for charity after all.

Assuming the car ain't sold.I'll be there!
WOO HOOOOO!
Russell ( home the night before so I'll be bleary-eyed and horny.......and the car will be just the thing to clear up both issues!)
Take it easy for the first 1000miles on a scoob because they have a special "running in" oil that is a little thicker than water and is mineral based AFAIK. This helps to be the rings in properly. Once this is changd out start increasing th eload and rpm steady over the next 1000 miles. This is safe and still lets you have fun.
