  2. Might see you guys somewhere round one of these. were going to assess what ones are best to go to and try to see as much of the rally as we can. We're (Me and the RA) off to the scruntineering on Friday night so maybe see some of you guys there as well. Russell
  3. If you are round near Banchory at lunchtime-ish then phone me and we'll try and get some Aberdeen Scoobs to meet you near Banchory for a meet and greet! Russell (0 77 11 88 4232)
  4. It's not the turbo fitting apparently.............its the fitting of the Inlet pipe I seem to struggle with. . . . . . . . . . . OR SO I HAVE BEEN TOLD[] Russell
  5. MY93-96 ECU's are all 4-Plug M8. Russell
  6. The car certainly now has all the bits required to make a GREAT B-Road car. Thing was trying to spool up on me at 2500rpm for gods sake[6] Watch out for this thing on the Aberdeenshire back roads. Steer clear and give it some respect. Russell
  7. I as really wanting to go down to this (1st one I've been home for since the "400+ conversion") but with friends coming up and the Granite City Rally on the same day, I'll have to catch the next one! SORRY! Russell ps - the new meeting place might as well be the ADSA, Bridge of Dee.................MCDONALDS is open there[6][6]
  8. HMM! - might be up for this. Especially is Gumball is going along[6] Russell
  9. Mark - told you the benefits of a little "P&P" would be worth it. Just need to sort out the last Item I told you about (no rush, got about 6 months B4 it will need done) so go out and enjoy the car. Clutdav - still no answer on the Defi's[] Russell
  10. Nothing to say? Forgot what to wrote? I LUV WINDING PEOPLE UP! Craig's already called me and asked me to Marshall the event............ 2 X Raleigh Grifters getting prepped for the BIG DAY[:|] Russell
  11. I have been in 4 wheel transport with Craig at the helm (STI9) and 2 wheel transport as well (Craig mac and I in his Westie....on 2 wheels at some points....sometimes NONE!) and I can say without a shadow of a doubt..........he'll easily keep up with the 600cc bikes. I, on the other hand, only seem to run level pegging with some 750's ( ridden by girls, obviously) On the right road Craigs or my car will crush a motorbike. Ask Cal about mine. He'll tell you. Russell ps - M555Rae, as a newbie, you need to learn when to talk and when to listen. START LEARNING..........or us "Old school playa's" will teach you a driving lesson you won't forget. pps - If you want to race Craig, I recommend the Trike. Craigs not as young as he used to be and so I think you'll take him on the hills.[]
  12. Not really M8, supplier hasn't got back to me with a delivery dat ebut If it turns out to be unacceptable for you I have several other people looking fo rthe same so I'll punt them on to someone else. Mark - Dastek and Star put the power @ +/- 402-420 depending on the day so I'll err on th eside of caution and call it 402. Yours cetainly feels like more than the 320/310 that you have quoted. Russell
  13. Dave - I can always stall fitting the Macsters gauges if he gets too smart[] Russell

  19. What level of service do you need? Russell
  20. Might make it.............depends on the weather as the Granite City Rally is that weekend. Russell
  21. By the sounds of your new spec, those 400/400 figures should not be too difficult to obtain. Good Luck! Russell ps - I sense a new clutch being ordered in the not too distant future.[]
  22. Might even have to reduce my rates now that it looks like we're moving out near Kemnay......................[:|] Russell
  23. Alan - got your PM, just trying to get a mapped price from Sam and I'll have an answer for you soon (assuming it isn't sold by then?) Russell
  24. I also think there are a few more cars out there that may run more BHP than I do (Gumball, Wilky, AlanG) but in the end it's all about how much you enjoy your own car. AlanG has said it himself, He looks back now and wishes he stopped modding at 450-500bhp as the car is too fast for him now.. I know that once the new engine, box and ancilliaries are fitted into mine I am stopping right there. There will be faster cars than mine, that will always be the case but I now have a little one to look after as well so priorities change. Russell
  25. Yes M8 - I was running 0.6 bar and 6000 rpm limiter (self imposed) and still kept up with you! Russell
