  1. Well, at least you didn't have to come across to the other side of the world 3 days early to fid out that you didn't really have to! A$$HOLES! Russell
  2. Looking forward to seeing you stress (but not too much!) that 350-rated clutch Ross......BE GENTLE M8, I only fitted it 3 weeks ago! Russell (just need to sort out Screamer pipe for EWG and then the madess may commence)
  3. What do you expect.............................I am a Rig-Pig[6] Russell
  4. I have seen this guy B4 when I was at the wifes parents in Northfield. Rumour from his mates was that there was 450bhp under the bonnet. But I did sneak a peek whilst he was there with the bonnet open...........and considering the OE slanted Pre 97 TMIC was still on there with a TD05 and Plastic TMIC piping and no aftermarket boost control........ . . . . . . . ER! NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Russell Might have to sneak up on him on the road and "re-educate" the young man!
  5. ALRIGHT!!!!!!!!!! - I was oly thinking that due to time constraints and the fact the baby is here, I MAY have to wait on mine. EMPHASIS ON MAY!!!!!!!!! Russell
  6. Cal - Andy is already coming up to see us on Saturday the 12th of August as Craig says above! I MAY not have my car fully ready by then, sooooooooooooo if you need my spot, you MAY be able to take my space! Cost is 60 for his travelling up here to go it, plus mapping costs. Rossco - it will only be 200 IF ANDY MAPPED IT B4, if he didn't (I thought "Aberdeens Premier Subaru Tuners" did it?) I think you will find that the bill will be 350! Russell
  7. Guys - Andy left his phone in a Customers car he was mapping a few days ago so he cannot answer it until he gets it back which should be today or tomorrow! Russell
  8. 125 each - bloody hell! I only pay 102 delivered for them! - you need to switch suppliers. Russell
  9. Gogsie - PM coming your way. Russell
  10. The boost spike issue is (obviously) worse in winter with the more "dense" charge. Gogsie never got his restrictor opened out by me as he said he was getting Andy to map it soon so I felt it would be OK in the Summer months and the wee spike would give a better "kick" to the mid-range grunt of the car for the time being. Look like I might have to open it a little! Acid - the most plausible reason why your getting the problem now is that you are using the new filter bag that is smaller and sits a little higher and more horizontal than the OE one. I have also found that some of them face COMPLETELY THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION to the OE one. Russell
  11. Gogsie - you picked up that exhaust Yet? Craig - sorry about the Dual Map thing. I know I told you I thought it would be OK on an 05 STi but it look like I was wrong. Russell
  12. Acid - yours is a UK MY95 car right? Have you got a boost gauge on it? what is your peak boost? Did you fit the OE fuel filter onto the new pump or the smaller new one? How much fuel was in the tank? I thought it might also be due to having the full decat on it and you were getting a boost spike, but from what you describe (ie roundabout) sound like fuel starvation. Russell edited due to me thiking the wrong thing[:$]
  13. Carl - NNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! STEP AWAY FROM THE PHOTOSHOP! DON'T DO IT! Russell ( "white is right, red is.............NOT"!)
  14. Fair enough Carl - but it would only mean that he would not get an accurate location of peak torque on the RPM curve but you would still get a figure. I don't care what anyone says...BHP means FECK ALL on a road car. Torque figures and area under the Torque curve are all that matters on a road car. Drag cars are different but we aren't running those types of cars. How is bhp measured on his dyno as the curves should cross over at around 5250rpm so surely the rpm signal that does the torque curve also does the bhp curve and hence interference accosiated with the torque curve (low rpm) should also show itself on the bhp curve ( high rpm)? Russell ps - Craig, I've replied to your email. I'll speak to you on here again in about an hour. I need to see if the lads are working outside or not.....lazy Indians!
  15. I'm on my way..................... . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Sometime[:@] Russell
  16. No M8 you won't. I already told you that the Newage cars don't respond as well as the Classic did to a full decat without a remap. The only restriction you have remove is the Sports Cat so your car need set up to that. Had their been a Torque reading from Simon (why it wasn't there baffles me?) you'll see the decat had given a wider, and bigger Torque curve that will make the car much more "driveable". Your car need its fuelling set up at the top end and along with the advance multipliers running at 16 (MAX) we'll get loads more advance and henceforth, MORE POWER!!!!!!! Torque and BHP will really change with the first mod we were fitting to your car on my return but with the SECOND set of mods getting fitted as well..........I might need to keep an eye out in my rearview mirror[] Russell
  17. OOH! - I WISH I COULD HAVE SEEN THAT ONE!!!!!!!!!!!! Russell ( waiting for some typically sad retort from Craig Mac relating to the football..........remember this Craig...........at least we got to the World Cup[])
  18. PATIENCE GRASSHOPPER!...........soon you will be wise in the ways of Warp Speed! Then you can do all the MAC-ing you want M8.........ON YOUR OWN CAR[] Russell
  19. Still Pi$$ed off that I had to miss this one due to change in work commitments.........especially since the rig is now not leaving for another week which means I never had to come out early in the first place. Would have loved to have the car on the rollers and reprove the 400+bhp that "Godzuky" has. OH WELL, NEXT TIME! Russell BHP Developments - authorised HKS, BLITZ, Defi and H&S Dealer
  20. Craig - I might just think about that! Russell
  21. Carl - how generous! PM coming your way! Russell
  22. Craig - look like I have to head back to Singapore early (ie 3pm on Saturday afternoon[]).................so, providing all is ready at the house for my departure, I'll pop over around 11am for a wee look round and say hello to all B4 I head off to better weather. Carl - won't have time to run my car but I'll have a look see at yours! Russell
  23. No worries M8! I'll be home and clear after the 12th of August. Russell
  24. Peter - your EGT kit should have reached you by now ( left on saturday morning). If it hasn't, phone me on 0 77 11 88 4232 and I'll get you the tracking number so you can locate it. Russell
  25. Well - I am still in Chester until Friday so can't help you out Ac!d. I hope you got my PM to explain that too much is happening too close to me going away offshore so I had to cancel. I'll still get you in first thing upon my return as I promised you I'd do the work. . . Unless you get Simon or Gavin to do it! Russell ( still available on 0 77 11 88 4232 if you need me)
