Wilky - not much to say about your post really! Along with all the other posts left on here I feel there is too much to be lost to the community fo rme to just "be a girlie" and give up. Rise above them I will and quietly carry on regardless I will. Were here to stay...........for a while at least! Russell

You were never out M8! unless your coming "out" now?[] Based on the overwhelming display on the part of everyone on here, I think it would be best to stay doing what I am doing on but in a slightly quieter capacity. ie, I'll stay high profile with all that want to use me but will shy away from questions involving other Abereedn tuners for fear of more repercussions. You guys have helped me so I feel the need to stay here and return the favour to all who ask for my help! Were here to stay......................for a while anyway. Thankyou to each and every one of you. Russell

Fecking lost for words M8..............really am! I'm off to bed now and I'll have a think about over the shift tomorrow (CBL/USIT log prior to mini DST, so I'll have loads of free time) and speak to the wife and ask her opinion. Cheers M8, you've really pulled on the old heart strings Russell ps - don't think that you'll get another reduced labour rate because of this post![]

I'd like to think that it wasn't jealousy as these guys all do it full time and I only do it part time. I don't steal work from them. I don't have employees to pay for and I can take 6 hours to do a good job that they rush through in 4 as they need another car in to make "PROFITS" Ask JC or Craig about how much of a perfectionist I am. I took over 11 hours on JC's car but he only got charged for the 7-ish I originally qouted him for. Craig Mac's took 20 and he was charged for 14-ish. I don't bill customers for my quirkyness. I just let them bathe in the finished article.[] I always prided myself on the fact that AndyF said I did good work. Coming from a man of his stature, I really respected that. Funny how he gets issues with tuners up here as well eh? Russell

Pete - CHILL M8!, you one of the guys on the list of outstanding commitments that i will complete this time home. I'll PM you when I get back to the UK and we'll check your car out and get it running like it should! Russell

Phil - I'll still build your car....................but only because it'll wind Craig Mac up.[] If you need me, PM me! Russell

Andy - appreciate your comment but I don't feel it is too drastic M8, certain people have told their customers that I don't know what i am doing. Also, where's the point in helping people if others tell me to butt out. I'll just call it a day and people can pay loads more money and get it done elsewhere. I never did it for money, it was to help others - I'm just a nice guy. But this sort of thing makes me wonder why I should bust my arse to get people cheap parts and do cheap fitting if others are just going to shoot me down. I have made 1 cockup in my time doing this.....and I FULLY ADMITTED THE FAULT! I paid with my own money for that fault and will always have continued to do so. Don't see many companies admitting to their faults do you? So if you guys want to get your car sorted by other tuning companies in Aberdeen, speak to people who have used them B4............then make your decision. TBH - I will probably keep the company logo's on the car and run it for me and my existing customers only, just to show that when the cars are on the R/R, it was ME who built the cars, not someone else. But as far as making money out of it.......I dont think it's worth it. Russell

No problem sM8 - I'll still help you out with the other stuff if need be as I promised I would But you'll understand more once you read my post on SS Russell

Too many posts from certain tuners telling me I'm getting involved in stuff I shouldn't be. Certain Employees of certain tuners telling their customers that I am a cowboy who knows nothing about these cars. SICK OF IT! BHP Developments is now closed. I will honour my commitments to finish the cars I have booked in when I get home............and that is it. I will only help my existing customers who know the level of passion I put into each and every one of their cars. All those who owe me money for parts, etc will have to pay their bills by the 7th of October so I can end this saga. Anyone in Aberdeen needing help will have to go and see "the professionals" in our fair city. I am sick of it now. Even thinking about selling the car and getting out of the Scoob game once and for all. (RETHINK - DON'T THINK SO!) Thanks to all who vested their time and money with me....................it will always be appreciated. Russell

Russell - I touch goats that I expect a sorted answer from you in 24 hours. I have a very good incling what the reason is but I'll leave it for Russell to sort out as I don't want to butt in anymore. I'll edit my post from before and call it a day. Russell (had enough of this) -

OH, so it was Alyn @ ASP that told you that. HMM! I could have sworn someone else said it days before the same person told you to go and see Alyn and get the DS series pads. Oh, I'm sorry, my bad.[:|] Russell -

Guys - if your in a rush then get someone else for the 5th place as I already have 4-potson a lightweight car no not really bothered. Russell ps - just got some new suspension so brakes aren't so much of a priority.

C'mon guys - give Ken a chance. Nobody asked him to organise the RR day else he would have done it. Ken delivers on what he is asked to do. Let him prove himself. Ask him about organising another Aberdeen-based event and see how he gets on. I think you'll all be pleasantly surprised. Russell

Guys - if any one knows of someone that wants to buy my 330mm AP4-pot kit that Ian supplied me (his discs and ds2500 pads) for 700UKP then I'll buy a 6-pot kit as the miles I do are low so I can afford to pay the 160 for a set of PADS. Hope you guys knew how expensive the 6-pot pads are! Russell ps - migh tdo free fitting on my kit to sweeten the deal?

Increase the ramp rate and you'll risk boost spikes unless you have an MBC or EBC. Alternative is an Apexi boost solenoid to control the boost better. Reason behind the low boost may be heat related on a GEMS system ( No MAF and runs Temperature-Compensation AFAIK, this may explaing the apparent lack of boost) Where did the figure of 1.4 come from? 321 torque seems OK for that sort of boost but still around 20G territory. Russell

st3ph3n - I thought he got a MAHOOSIVE Garrett BB turbo from Owen Developments ( I remember him saying it was a 450hp-capable turbo rated @ 2 Bar and he's running 1.7 AFAIK) but those figures are simple 20G territory. Oh, well! there's always next time. Try not to read too much into it Peter. R/R figures are only an indication of how the car performs. It's how it drives on the road that counts. Russell
-
Wilky - awesome torque figure!...............and on a lightweight car like yours, that explains the "rapid movements" that toy of your has! Russell

No M8 - he has still got a TMIC Russell
