  1. Craig - you know your only jealous! rb5kev, someone has to remove the dash m8, sorry but no other way to do it. I could rmove it for you and refit it if need be but that'll add another 70 to the cost and means you'll need to come up here. I did drive around for 1 week without the dash in the car. So long as everything is secured to the crossmember, etc them the car is fine to drive from a legal standpoint, just look really weird! Russell
  2. Ed - I also have a BRAND NEW Prodrive B/B if that is of interest to you. NOT EVEN OUT OF THE WRAPPER! NEVER EVEN BEEN ON A CAR! PM me if you want to sort out a deal on the Blitz as I know of others apart from Craig Mac who want a Blitz B/B Russell
  3. Cost is about 170 and I need to ship to dash off to my guy who does it. It'll take about a week but the finish is cool! Russell
  4. Sounds like a que for me to step in, eh? Russell - resident "flockmeister"
  5. Dean, this seems to be the problem. The flanges at the connection between the Downpipe and the Centre Section SHOULD NOT BE HORIZONTAL. Nearly, but not quite. Centre section fits so that the resonator in the C/S is nearest the front of the car. Russell ps - my car is an "X" reg M8!
  6. I know of someone who has a spare Blitz Nur Spec backbox (2 1/2" flange) that will mate STRAIGHT ONTO your car. You might know him[] Russell
  7. I can supply specially designed organic clutches rated to 400lb/ft & 450bhp( I run one on my 400bhp, 380lb/ft RA and it is great) for 385 pounds. Comes with cover, plate, alignment tool and release bearing. Because it is organic and not a paddle clutch, the feel is about as OE as you can get and all for the same cost as an OE STi clutch. Better to fit a clutch that will take 400lb/ft now than need to fit one later when your mods take you about the rating of a 330bhp car. REMEMBER...................torque kills clutches not BHP! Russell
  8. Yes M8. Use the OE fuel filter though as the one they supply doesn't really face in the same direction and there is less chance of fuel starvation/fuel cut using the OE filter. Russell
  9. It's early Morning here (03:00) and it's raining like a MOFO! Russell (Singapore, baby!)
  10. OMFG! Finished! Surely not! Defi's soon then (REAL Headache material[]) Russell
  11. No John, A VERY FAST , RED IMPREZA[] Russell
  12. Depends really. If your looking to get better spoolup and keep the flat-4 rumble then porting and polishing the OE headers if perfect. if you want over 350bhp then aftermarket unequal length headers (MEGAN RACING, GT Spec II, GruppeS V2) are a good investment. You'll get more power and torque but it moves everything about 500rpm up the rev range. Unequal length headers (H&S) give you even more torque and top end power but you lose the offset rumble ie, your car starts to sound like an EVO. Choices, choices Russell
  13. 3 weeks! LUCKY SOD - I am stuck out here in Singapore for 30 days. Its a tough life I can tell you[] Russell
  14. Guys - AFAIK, unless Andy remaaped the ECU the first time, he cannot alter the ECU's map ( something to do with each dealer having different codingd on their ECUTek software?) so he may have to charge for a full remap minus the cost of the liscence (which was paid for with the first remap. Andy, feel free to jump in if I am spouting the proverbial! Russell ps - even if Andy didn't map it first time.........get him to do it this time!
  15. Glad Cal's deductions are spot on. I might as well grab my coat and leave eh Cal?[] Russell
  16. Cal - is this the reason you called Angela? Email me an dlet me know what you need M8! Russell......................in Singapore and loving it[6]
  17. See you in the morning Dean. Give me a quick call in the morning will you as I am finishing an EVO5 CLutch out the road so I can be back for midday! Russell
  18. Dean - did you get my PM ref: servicing costs? Hopefully you did. In terms of the exhaust, I have a spare STi 6 OE exhaust system you can use to get the car through it's MOT if you need to borrow it? Let me know Russell (0 77 11 88 4232)
  19. Grant - reply on its way Brain - thanks for the plug! Russell

  23. That pretty much what happened. We were on SS2 whan there was a big delay after about 10 of the 2nd group of cars came through (4WD cars). Marshalls were'nt sure what had happened, they just know the stage had been stopped. Went to Alford to the service area, had a wee chat with Liam from Glenburgie who was running and a few other drivers I know. Got to SS4 to be told that it was cancelled due to someone being killed earlier in the day. SAD NEWS. My condolences the their family[] Russell
