  5. Going a wee bit off topic, but it keeps it close to the top! Russell
  6. Changed Mobile Contract over the weekend and it seems I gave out the wrong number to a few people over the past few days and there is a rather annoyed woman in Hereford who has no Scooby experience[:$] So, the correct numbers for me is: 07711 884232 OOPS! Russell
  7. With a grinder! - You'll see it is tack-welded to the U/P in several places but should be easy enough for a "competent DIY-er" like you. Russell
  8. Cool - I spotted tha change and will put up a post! Russell
  9. Phil - tell those muppets at Scoobytek (especially Tony) that I am STILL WAITING FOR THE RECIEPT FOR THE ENGINE REBUILD I WAS PROMISED 14 MONTHS AGO!!!!!!!! Russell ps - you can also tell them I have taken legal advice on this and am, considering court action under a banner of "false advertising". Choice is theirs, sort it out sensibly or let the courts decide.
  10. We'll paint the Wrap on the U/P if you want but the Undertray pretty much stops water getting onto the U/P and unless your car is being left for a long time (dont think so!) then there is no chance of moisture corroding the U/P to any greater extent than by just having the heatshield on. Russell
  11. Cool M8! Just to confirm, my new mobile number is 0 77 88 11 4232 Russell
  12. Herbie - If you get no answer from them by Monday, PM me and I'l give you a mobile number to try. Russell
  13. Cal - as I told you last night, 1 - that is a Classic/Bugeye STi Uppipe NOT an aftermarket Uppipe. As you paid by Paypal, best to do as we discussed last night. 2 - THOSE BOLTS ARE SUPPOSED TO BE THERE! No need to remove them unless they are damaged. 3 - Marc and I promise we won't laugh at you again like we did last night.[] 4 - These bolts are a high tensile steel and are M10 X 1.25 (Metric Fine Pitch). VERY hard to find unless you go to Grampian Fasteners and tell them I sent ya![] Russell
  14. Calling you now M8! Russell - Finally getting my head round things -
  15. Aye! - a 3" system is detrimental to the EGBP on a TD04 and you will lose a little midrange on the car in comparison to a 2.5" system. Your money, your choice! Russell
  16. Eddie - I have a spare set of 500 mile old, just scrubbed in 225/35/18 Goodyear Eagle GSD3's in the garage if you need them. I was going to put them on the PFF7's but can wait a while if yours are nearly "illegal". Russell
  17. Gumball-you might know the new owner after all:) Russell ( not saying any more right now! )
  18. Cheers everyone, it's been a tough couple of days out here. The rest of the Roughnecks were shot to pieces and kept on breaking down in front of me and I had to help to comfort them. It's so tough being their Driller, having to put on a calm, collected face on when inside of you your dying to break down yourself. The search was officially called off today and this is the time that it may finally kick in for some of the other expats out here in India. I've had an average of 1 hours sleep a day as I picture him falling every time I close my eyes. We've been given details of counsellors in our home towns for us to call and see as this will take time to get over. DAY BY DAY, I SUPPOSE Once again, thanks for all the support. Russell Driller, DSS
  19. ............that I have to report the following. We tragically lost one of my crew, Praveen, on Friday night after he fell 40ft into the moonpool and never resurfaced. All current searches so far have been fruitless.Currently the tides are running SSW so his body is well on its way to South Africa and will most likely never be recovered. It's been 48 hours now and my heart feels like it has been ripped out as Praveen was one of my favourite members of my crew. He was always committe to woking safely and whilst the investigations go on, we have no option but to grit our teeth and carry on. So the purpose of this post is to remind all you other guys working offshore that it only takes a second for it to be all over. THINK ABOUT WHAT YOU"LL BE LEAVING BEHIND IF IT ALL GOES WRONG!!!!!!!!![:'(] PLAN AHEAD AND BE SAFE!!! It's going to be a tough few weeks for me so please forgive me if you get a call from me to say that the work I was going to do fo you MAY have to wait. I'll see how the first few days home (get back Thursday) go and decide on a game plan from there. GOODBYE MY FRIEND...............YOU MAY BE GONE BUT YOU'LL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN. Thanks guys[] Russell
  20. I Should easily be able to break the 500 mark for DEFI LINK gauges Russell
  21. Bloody hell Russ - I think we all heard you the first time:D I'll be offshore for this one sadly, but I'd happily pop down to Knockhill the next time you decide to organise one! Russell
  22. << Mind you I'm maybe not the best person to advise on hair products >> WHY NOT? I'm sure that most salons stock REGAINE Russell
  23. He's OK M8 - very technically minded but too much of a "pimp" these days (for god's sake, he has neons on his P1). We've been on opposite shifts for the past year and so I've hardly seen him. SHame really as he is 1/2 of the original BHP Developments. Russell
  24. << PPS we are taking delivery of our other German Marque soon >> HMM! - an Oil Burner and a hairdressers car in one garage.........................next you'll be going "organic" and calling your first child Tarquin....................... Russell
  25. No probs M8 but if you do split it, I'll take all the OLD stuff fom you! Russell
