  1. Suppose so - but i am only just geting used to being called "Huggy Bear" - for more info, ask Craig Mac or Cal Russell
  2. HMM! - I was wondering why it was so quiet? Russell
  3. << My lot is being fitted now by uncle Wuz I will report when I get it back. >> UNCLE WUZ? - Im not that old (33) although having found out I am going to be a dad has added a few more grey hairs Russell
  4. John - I am 28/28 so it's just bad timing for the next few months until the setup hits the area where I can go away in the last week of the month so I can attend the meets when I am home. Never mind Just getting a little ar$ey as I have never managed to get some of those free chips! Russell
  5. That's the problem though with an Autometer special - if it goes TiT$ up on you, trying to get spares will be costly! Agree with Grant........... Get a second hand Greddy or HKS one off of Ebay, Nothing ventured............... Russell
  6. Don't think so...........................SORRY! Russell
  7. Don't think so M8. Try clicking on the " no new messages" bit, then v"iew history", then click on W on "Alphabet quick search" and if WUZ appears, it'll have all the PM's you sent Russell
  8. << Agreed that EGT would be better further down the line. Mine became useful when nailing it over a ton and watching the EGT rise due to the phase one intercooler struggling. Grant >> Similar reason for me changing from STi8 TMIC to FMIC - 402bhp through a TMIC caused the EGT's to creep to 900-ish and that's in the winter! Wasn't wanting to richen up the top end too much or retard the ignition so went FMIC....all is good now! Russell
  9. Stephen - replied to you ref OIL about 24 hours ago, If you need anything else, I PM'ed my Mobile number along with the PM. Russell
  10. EGT's are monitored for the same reason that AFR is. The leaner you run at the top end (more power), the higher the EGT's. On a Scoob, 900 degrees C is about as high as you want to go! Also the car will run a LOT faster if you thrash the car with 700 degrees EGT rather than pootling around town 300-450 EGT) and then blasting off! It does make a difference, at least it does in my RA Russell
  11. Fuel Pressure? If you want to remain " all Defi", sorry to say that there isn't an Defi BF AFR gauge available EGT's are of no real use to you right now, not until you modify and remap the car to seriuos power! Russell
  12. SOD THE LOT OF YOU! I'm going into "Gumball" mode and leaving! ( to form my own group - Aberdeen Rig-based Subaru Efficienados (ARSE)) Meeting will be on the first Monday of every week Russell
  13. Looking good M8! Russell
  14. << Well it looks like this has passed without incident for most of us, >> JAMMY SODS! Russell
  15. I've got to make a living somehow It's not like I make a lot of money working in India, it is a poor country after all. Russell
  16. AAARGH! - I'll be away AGAIN! Can't we do it on Monday night? Russell
  17. Craig found them on an auction site that we all know about....................Begins with an E..................... Russell ps - I was looking at them as well, strangely enough, Craig was going to be one of the guys I would have Pm'ed about them if I got them
  18. 215/40/17 or 205/45/17 for a CLASSIC Russell
  19. << How many miles have the ones that Auto Image have in done? Was the £200 supplied and fitted?? Very tempted if so...... >> I think Kenny said they had +/- 800 miles on them! Russell ps - bugeyes need 225/45/17 so these will not keep the rolling radiuys on your WRX
  20. That is a good price for some only-just-scrubbed-in Yoko's if I didn't have some D01J's in the garage, I'd have considered them as a set of track spares Russell
  21. Kenny - fun does not even start to describe it! Russell
  22. Callum - Right on there BROTHER WILKY Let's take the roads back Russell
  23. Boyakasha - forgot to say...... "but the misses starts giving me sh1t and saying don't waste your time" WELL I NEVER! I AM SO SURPRISED AT THAT ONE! Russell
  24. Actually, Jason is right. If he hits you then he is at fault duet o "driving without due care and attention" Your pride and joy is now in need of repair but at least you can add a few items on and "claim" for them (not endorsing that idea as it is WRONG ) Russell
