  1. Might hold you to that one Peter. A satay and a thrill ride sounds good.
  2. Are you looking for a regular or space telescope? A mate had a really nice one from Jessops that he bought for his wife that she used once and didn't like. It's a space one though, and is therefore fairly useless for looking at anything remotely close by. I could see if he's still got it as he'd not be looking for much.
  3. Certainly will Marky. Probably be down at kames the weekend after this one for the sprints.
  4. Every profile says that. It just shows your warning level. You can see your own, and the mods (like me) can see everyones. To put pictures up you'll need to use a hosting service like photobucket or the likes. Do you use one of those currently?
  5. It's a great stock response that. It helps as much as testicular cancer. John - make sure when you restored your phone that the iTunes store is set to the right country. You should be getting emailed receipts for your itunes purchases too, so check you've been getting them and ensure it is the right account. Music and photos (with the possible exception of the camera roll?) etc. aren't backed up because the assumption is they're coming from your iTunes library. Otherwise your backup could be 32gb on the 3Gs of that size.
  6. I'll not be leaving. Not whilst there's the occasional troll to bait, and arguments over the difference between brands of camera to have! I'll have another Subaru again one day, I'm sure about that. But I'm going to get myself something chock full of toys that does 70mpg now
  7. Welcome to the forums and the club.
  8. I actually got a little point and click Nikon for my birthday - and it's great!
  9. It's gone to a friend of Davey from DR Motorsport. He's got a classic at the moment and when he came to see the car I was pretty happy that it sounded like it was going to a good home. I've told the new owner to take the bung out when he's feeling brave. I'm sure it'll crack him right up!
  10. And double NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. If you're okay with refurbs (mine is, and never had an issue) then this is a great price too - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/CANON-EOS-REBEL-T1i-...=item58879c60f8
  11. I'll keep my Admin role as long as they want me to. I'm a lazy admin though, the hardworking mods to the good work. As far as the next car - not decided yet. Moving to something sensible for a while. Got the use of a smashing 51 plate 1.4 5 door Civic at the moment. No one expects it to be hustle quite like I manage I'm sure I'll be back one day though. Never leaves the blood surely?
  12. I am no longer a Subaru owner as of 8pm this evening. I have some pretty incredible memories that will stay with me forever. My first lap of Knockhill. The Glenshee photo shoot run - particularly watching Sharon keep up in a sport, and then myself and Fastscooby getting airborn when passing a land cruiser. The suicidal sheep between Sanqhuar and Crawford John when I was somehow put in charge of the "medium" pace group. I don't know Jimser ever did recover from that experience! Racing Craig_WRX at Crail until my clutch wasn't on speaking terms with me. Nights at the Kwang Tung with Peter, Jim, Grant, Diesel, Nanaki and the others who appeared. Cost me a fortune but made a chinese man faster. Richard Burns relay too. I was also delighted to be part of the McRae Gathering, but as I said at the time - I'd rather that day had never needed to happen. Winston and the goats too. All of these share one common thing - Scottish Scoobies and the SIDC as a whole. So my friends in Subaru I say this from the bottom of my heart - thank you. It's been a blast.
  13. Tempted, but new iPhone next month for me so probably no at the moment. Gen 2 will be better as always!
  14. If you have your library saved somewhere it will be fine John. Otherwise - get your iTunes in order first before doing a sync again. It should copy back the apps, but not music etc.
  15. Wilky - can't believe it. Bad things happen to good people. As others have said - glad you guys are safe though.
  16. Chris Harris is well worth a follow if you're a twitterererererer. He HATES the BMW X6 - http://twitter.com/harrismonkey
  17. I cruise down at the minimum contract or there about. I think actually I get my code a month early, but why would I upgrade when there's much new shininess coming out!
  18. Mine's missing the live features, but it was free so I can't complain!
  19. My contract runs out on the 30th of June which should be fortunate timing. Probably jump ship to whoever is offering best deal. Or Vodafone as I can get a signal in the office then. Damn bomb proof concrete buildings blocking mobile signals.
  20. If you don't get the popup then it appears in your my computer and should work fine. So anyone getting iPhone 4 next month?
  21. As I said previously - I was aware who the OP was very early doors yesterday and may have got out my industrial sized fishing rod for the purpose of the expedition. So I should apologise for that.
  22. Won a TomTom XXL IQ routes a couple of weeks ago. Only tried it out a couple of times but very pleased with it. The lane guidance appears as though it would be really useful when somewhere you don't know. Mine also came with the traffic receiver which tested well when not used in anger. Yet to see how well it works when dealing with actual traffic!
  23. I'll ask him later, but either I imagine. He'd prefer them if they were actually from WW2 and he was fighting! Poor fellow was born 30 years too late.
  24. Neil, that was the guy from work driving that. You got any more of it as he'd be very pleased.
