  1. Aren't the slick 50 products as useful as snake oil?
  2. Think I'm going to need to invest in an DSLR. Loving some of these pics.
  3. Congratulations John, you've had a gearbox meltdown.
  4. John, have you jacked the car up yet and checked anything? If we're having a sweep what are the odds on it being a dead animal trapped under the car?
  5. John, when I had my gearbox issues (which Alan kindly helped with) I looked at prices etc. and there was 5 speeds from the wreckers for much cheapness. Rebuilds looked like a complete lottery in terms of prices. Thankfully mine got sorted, although I'm yet to be convinced that some damage wasn't done to curtail its life. I know it looks like it is the box now - but worth checking the hubs/bearings? At knockers you're putting an awful lot of load on the passenger side ones and I know I'm not the only one that's had issues with them very soon after a track day. Admittedly not a complete failure like that but worth a check.
  6. As far as I'm aware it fits John. Fitting involves handing it over to someone with a clue. That's what I did!
  7. Loving the Integra. If only Honda would make them with right wheel drive.
  8. I would have said that I was down possibly 5-10 degrees on average running John. This is the one I have - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Zero-Sports-Cool-Rac...7QQcmdZViewItem
  9. That's what I was suggestion euan. The Zero/sports one works great one mine. Although alang told me that you can just drill out a standard one to a specific size and it does the same job! Can't remember the size though or how to do it. I got my Zero one from ebay for cheap though. John - the one at the alternator is the oil pressure one. It goes in where the standard low oil pressure sensor goes. But if you have that there then I imagine you have the temp one in the gallery above 3. You take the IC off to get at it. It was where I was recommended to fit mine for a more accurate idea of temps. If you can really be fecked you could probably get a generic oil cooler off ebay, then just get the proper lines etc. and fabricate something yourself. Or buy something good instead!
  10. John, where is your oil temp sensor located? Is it the donut on the filter or is it in the hole above cylinder 3? I run mine above number 3 which is supposed to be the hottest and didn't reach 110 on track. Are you running one of the different thermostats too as I found that reduced my temps.
  11. It's a classic John! You're such a car heathen.
  12. Lanarkshire represent homies! I see loads about in South and North, but hardly ever the forum members. Anyway, welcome.
  13. That Pug is 3 wheel-tastic. Looking at these pictures is making me feel sad. I've not tracked the car in almost a year due to a few issues and life getting in the way. Will have to right that wrong though.
  14. Beautiful Steve. Looks in great nick too. Any plans to tart it up in your own way?
  15. Car sounds magic John. Well done to Imy too! Good save.
  16. Looks like a fantastic day was had. I must admit that when I was driving through to Edinburgh and I got to the forth road turn off on the M8 I was sorely tempted to just hang a left and come up but I had too much to do. Loving the Type 25 - drool.
  17. That sounds like a great trip. Does this make you the first member with an 08 as well?
  18. I'm not on track. In the office for some overtime I'm afraid. Hopefully be on the next one.
  19. Crap news Fee. i'm in the capital today so will keep my eyes and ears peeled for it.
  20. Surely you'll be wanting the H3 now G?
  21. Remember - the GT-R is not a skyline. I wouldn't kick any of the 3 of them out.
  22. Actually - am I talking nonsense for the newage model designations. Was GDA the Saloon and GDB the wagoon and then they had applied model codes for the different years? Answers on a large banner.
  23. GC8 is the chassis code of the classics (93-00). GDA is a bugeye (01-02), GDB is a Blobeye (03-04, then the 05 car which is actually subtely different), GDC for the Hawkeye (06-07) and WTF for the 08.
