  1. If it's national speed limit then it's 60 single carriage way, 70 dual. Unless signposted otherwise. That's what your highway code will tell you anyway. Just remember - the cameras will be on the nice straight bits where you can overtake and see for miles.
  2. Halleys have serviced mine twice now, and I've bought a couple of bits form them. Will certainly use again.
  3. I know what I'd rather have though. Actually, convertible Ferraris are still for women.
  4. Good looking car Marc. Loving the wheels. We've got a boat load of vee dubs and Audis at work, and I've yet to drive a bad one, or see one with a problem.
  5. Did you end up getting one Cal? My left leg was bruised at the last track day. Thems the prices you have to pay though.
  6. 1. FAI17 2. Scoobyandy 3. st3ph3n Does 5 times an hour make me an addict or just dedicated to the cause?
  7. I've just remembered - my cousin borrowed GT4 and snapped the disc in half and he's not given me a replacement yet. I'll try and pick one up this week and send him the bill. I've got a Logitech wheel that I might need to whip out for this if we're getting serious.
  8. Last time it was half 7 at the waste ground/Bathe on the south side of the Bridge. But when I turned up to nip into the Shell station they were all fuelling up. Scoobs in a shell station? Surely some mistake!
  9. South England only for the moment as far as I know.
  10. I'd be up for this. A games forum I used to hang about on ran a weekly competition on GT4 prologue. My favourite in that one was piloting the Spoon Fit car round the wee Italian hillside Village. I have some pedigree with these things - I was Glasgow heat champion of the Xbox 10K challenge in 2004 when they used Project Gotham 2 for the qualifiers, and I was world record holder on some of the Edinburgh tracks for a period too. And held the fastest non-TVR lap on the nurburgring for 4 months.
  11. I'm on the full day. Probably meet people in Kincardine same as last time if that suits.
  12. You'll want this mate. Scott Lowe one. I've got the WRX version fitted to mine and it's great. He does a carbon fibre one too, 370 quid though.
  13. Peter linked a video earlier in the week of an Evo destroying a 500hp Mustang, and the evo had kill stickers on it, which I thought was pretty cool. But these ones really made me laugh. The place where I found the picture is full of "where can I get these" posts. What we need is little elise ones, for when we hump them round knockhill. Now I've gone and said it eh?
  14. Also, if you visit google and type in something like say "1 hkpa in psi" it will actually give you the answer. Same as "1 litre in imperial gallons". Very useful too.
  15. You'd recommend that C2 stuff Mako? Was thinking of getting some myself. Love the white car as always.
  16. 1 bar = 14.5037738 pounds per square inch 1 hkpa = 1bar Help?
  17. There's a white one kicks around Glasgow sometimes. Very nice motor indeed. Didn't one of the Jap mags recently do a feature on them?
  18. 1600x1200 wallpapers!!!!!! Cal, you're a legend. I've been looking for some new ones. I've been meaning to buy some best motoring and JDM Option vids for a while now. Got some clips lurking somewhere from them. Grant, I've got a copy of Option magazine from June 2004 that a mate brought back from HK, but I thinkit's in Japanese. Its cover feature is the STI vs. the EVO, but I understand feck all of it. Great video CD mind you. You're more than welcome to have said magazine for your collection.
  19. I've said it before and I'll say it again - why Scotland doesn't have more race tracks is entirely beyond me. Look at the talent we've produced historically and recently. The natural terrain could be used to provide some truly excellent race tracks. There are natural ampitheaters all over the place that can be used to create great spectating tracks. But alas, I'm just one man crusading. Is Cadwell park the one with the "jump" on it? I'd love to have a go round Brands. I've done countless hours round the indy circuit in a Primera touring car trying to break lap records. Oulton always looks good on the telly. Thurxton looks scary as hell if you're driving something with a decent terminal speed. Spectated at Rockingham for the first CART race they held. Was an awesome sight, but don't think it'd make the most interesting road circuit based on the inside layout. Love to try Donnington aswell. The craner curves down to the old hairpin. Just what the doctor ordered.
  20. You can always see what I've been listening too on the PC atLast.fm. Although when WMP crashes the plugin dies and I always forget to turn it back on. I've also started using the new Last.fm radio thing, which is quite excellent. If I go to my user page then click on the start radio button and then chose the Neighbours radio I get to hear tracks that people who are my musical neighbours are enjoying. In the car at the moment I've got Jay-Z's The Black Album - try driving slowly to 99 problems or dirt off your shoulder. Ugly Duckling's Journey to Anywhere and also The leftovers. The first Unkle album and Jaylib's Champion Sound. And a couple of CDRs with various MP3s on them. Mostly Mixsets by people like DJ Yoda, Green Lantern, Z-Trip, DJ P and so on and so forth.
  21. Andy, I'm sure two grown men waving like schoolboys because they're in the same wee club already qualifies us to most as at least sad. I spotted the DV on an ebay cruise earlier in the week, and boredom got the better of me this afternoon. HKS stuff is top notch kit and the price was very good indeed. God bless the weak American dollar!
  22. Couldn't resist buying this. Great price. Hope it arrives before next weekend.
  23. Craig, what year is your car? I had absolutely no trouble fitting a Pioneer DEH-P8600MP to a MY05. Mounted in the top of the double DIN slot and a pocket underneath it.
  24. I've got a Jap one. Cracked it back to the 1.5 firmware last week for a bit of the old nudge nudge cough cough software. Works a treat too. Just need a gig memory stick for it now.
