There's nothing to lose when visiting Toluouse. Aythangew. I had a vague plan of: Glasgow - Bristol (have a mate there) Cross the channel - Accommodation near the Nurburgring Day at the ring soaking up the sites and sounds and a few laps, then another night. Nurburgring - Paris, night in Paris. Paris - Home. Ferrys scare the living pish out of me for some deeply embedded psychological reason, so I'd probably take the train across.

I got a really good Pioneer for less than that on ebay, and fitted it myself in 10 minutes. It's really rather easy. I'd stick with the Pio too.

Peter is that because you only get Servo assistance when you're off the throttle, and with Anti-lag it might think it's always on the throttle?

As I remember reading somewhere - hot exhaust = better flow. Hot engine = HELP. Or something along those lines.

One of my mates found the brakes on his WRX to be a bit soft, he mentioned it to the garage at the 1K service, but I don't think they found anything up with them. I've found them to be more than adequate, particularly with these EBC front pads which seem able to take a helluva lot of abuse before they take the huff. Having said that, the Godspeed conversion does look a good deal considering it includes the discs and pads too.

I'm eyeing up a move in my employment which would stop me having to tramp over speed bumps designed for Cat trucks the size of a block of flats, so Tein springs or Prodrive ones could well be on the cards.

Looking damn good Dave. Leave it black though. I've got the WRX splitter on mine, which is black, but not the black of the car itself and it just makes it stand out that little bit more. If you colour code it will disappear into the car and take the edgey look away from it. The look that says - I've not had breakfast yet, and you're it.

The m8 is truly one of lifes little joys. I spent nearly 2 years fighting the rush hour daftness. Like the traffic slowing down to a stop for the low sun as you come up to livingston at 5pm at this time of year. IT'S THERE EVERY DAY, GET YOUR DAMN SUNGLASSES ON EARLIER NEXT TIME, AND THE VISOR DOWN. IT'S NOT GOING TO KILL YOU. Oh and when the M8 becomes the A8 as you go west too. The roadworks finished there yet it still took 3 months for people not to slow down to 40. Muppets. But alas. It's Monday, I'm working late-ish until Wednesday so I get a long lie and miss most of the A80 traffic nightmare which is nice, but it does mean being stuck here till 6 when it's dark and cold.

Crikey! Spinning at 130 must be scary. Good to hear Andy is ok. Stay safe out there kids.
