  1. Check out the audio faq over at Scoobynet, it's tremendously informative. I've got a single din stereo and then the single din pocket from the forrester. It's great.
  2. I've got a brat that looks like that, but it is a remote control car. Still good though.
  3. And damn expensive. Welcome mate. Enjoy the show.
  4. Both blobeye newages - Nice Blue STI with a SIDC sticker, and a Crystal Grey WRX parked up on the pavement (second time I've seen it there!). The Grey one had lovely tints on it, if I had some paper I'd have taken down the name of the tinting company that was on the teeny sticker on the back window.
  5. I read the Super Street website sometimes. Got some decent wallpapers on it.
  6. Lol Andy. I bet someone was having kittens looking at the deal. I mark my test environments with odd colour choices or something similar after doing something to a live government database once that didn't go down too well.
  7. It's the same principle corsa! Titanium golf club + dark night + wee bit of sand on the ground = magic. Mudflap + wee strip of titanium on the bottom + dark night + spirited cornering = A mod that would sell like the proverbial hot cakes.
  8. A rather eclectic selection oobster. A good crash ratio on the first cars as well!
  9. Guys, we've had a crazy friday afternoon thought here at work. Where can we get our hands on some Titanium that can be cut into shape and secured to the bottom of my mudflaps? Just thin strips are required really.
  10. I've only had 3 cars. First one at 17, kept it for 3 years, changed and kept that for 3 and a half, and then the Impreza. 98-01 Honda Civic 1.4i - great fun, handled like a go-kart and wasn't too slow. Would have loved a 1.6 vtec though. Fantastic first car. 01-04 Vauxhall Vectra 1.8 Club - got loads of money off it through GM credit card points, so it was dead cheap. Very comfortable, great base for a good stereo install, cruise control was magic on the motorways. Front end was useless, tyres lasted 8-10K. Did the job when I needed it really. 04-current - Impreza. Got first full time job after uni after being a contractor whore and ploughed my ill gotten gains into this. 5 years at uni all to buy a car. Worth it? Damn straight.
  11. V1.0? Only the jap ones came with 1.0. Upgrade to 1.5 and you can play all the backups.
  12. Read the MLR's opinion on the FQ400, they said the 340 + mods was a much wiser choice. Too much lag.
  13. Kev, you kept that quiet! What new toy will we be seeing you in then? A nice JDM STI perchance?
  14. I've got a Scott Lowe Carbon Fibre rear wing on mine. It only fits WRX boots with ease though, the STI ones need filled and what not. Not sure if the prodrive rear wing is the same or not. I'm assuming it's this one you are talking about putting on it:
  15. Great stuff kenny, I hope to be joining you in the new Job crew int he not too distant future. With the sole purpose of more mod money too.
  16. Just play poker on t'internet. It's the only way fly.
  17. In the right colours aswell Chris. Well done Peter. Only another 9000 to go until you reach the hallowed level of "man with too much time on hands".
  18. I've got an interview on the 14th for a better job. If I get that then I wont have to occasionally visit coal sites with whopping great big speed bumps for trucks. So fingers crossed.
  19. Virtually that is! A bit bored at work this morning, and the picture of my favourite mod got me thinking. So I whipped out Windows Paint (none of your fancy Paintshop Pro or Photoshop for me) and came up with this: Before and After . Now where were those cheap Tein springs again?
  20. Yes, but not July probably as one of my best mates is getting married that month. Unless I can convince him a european road trip is what he needs for his stag do. But a provisional yes none the less.
  21. I love how my exhuast turned the car into a completely different character. I love how the droplinks + geometery almost single handedly gave me twice as much confidence in the car's ability in the corners. But it has to be the rear wing.
  22. It's a great idea. I'm going to the ring next year and fully intend to start my planning not long after new year.
  23. Andy, the human mind is a scary place. I think nothing of driving at speed, but boats and until recently flying panic me out my box. I quite liked "Le Tour de Irn Bru" for any european run.
