  1. I'll be down the local in 20 minutes lads and ladies. I'll have the drinks lined up.
  2. You can get lost spending an afternoon wandering round Street Fire. It's great. The thing that impressed me about that skyline wasn't just the great power but the grip looked astounding.
  3. It wouldn't have been a great conversation at that point Sharon. I was totally hyper after the aforementioned backwards down the hill incident.
  4. I can only type in one window at a time. For now! MUAHHAAHA Now we've covered that lets move on to the atrocious spelling and grammar! Actually, lets not. As a man who failed his higher English, in style, I have no say in the matter. For the record - I love the ladies. I'm just on a one man mission to cure all injustice in the world today. Next stop is Tibet!
  5. 412 for you Sharon. You've only been here five minutes. That's dedication for you. And long may it continue.
  6. Chris, I apologise for any offence you have taken. It really wasn't meant like that at all. I've sent you a PM.
  7. << Just to let you Know ,Dougster and myself have sorted out our issues. You dont know the whole story , but your comments recieved and understood. Andy >> This brings a smile to heart and a tear to my face. Or something. If only the Israelis and the Palestinians could be more like you.
  8. So are most racial insults Chris. Sexual preference, race, creed, hair colour, footballing allegiences have feck all to do with a car club. There's enough of that pish going on in Scotland without us joining in.
  9. If we're having our say then I find what you said to Dougster entirely unacceptable Big Andy. In my opinion of course. Light hearted joshing is one thing, but that was above and beyond, in my opinion. Other than that what you say is good.
  10. I don't think it's a big problem Chris. Forums naturally evolve to encompass a broader range of individuals who will talk about a broader spectrum of PISH. For sure we have a lot of OT stuff today, but it's not the norm, and I don't think it ever will be. That said - having 2 or 3 Scottish Areas would be nice, but previous experience on other forums often left the place fragmented when too much segregation went on. So an OT forum, a more club related forum and a for sale one would be the order of the day I think. On the topic of things that bother people - "Gayness". When did gay become a synonym for bad? I'd personally like to see its use in that context eradicated from the forum, and life in general. You can't have it both ways. Or perhaps you can! (A little innuendo for the people there, I'm here all week, try the fish)
  11. oobster pointed out I'm now in the 1000 club. As a senior member I am now legally allowed to boss around the non-senior ones. That's how it works surely? It's been a pleasurable experience, as well as a costly one. I've had highs, lows, cosmetic mods, performance mods, going down a grassy hill backwards at 40mph+ thinking "what the hell am I doing here?", but most of all I've had fun.
  12. Got to be Chinese for me. Although I tend to just stuck with 1 or 2 dishes that I really love and eat them all the time. Chicken Satay. Mmmmm. Could go some right now actually.
  13. Yes. PSP only. It's set in 1998, 3 yeas before GTA:III was set. Your character is Tony Cipriani, who is involved with the Leone mob family. You'll remember the Leone family if you've played number 3. Liberty City itself is mostly the same as it used to be, but with some subtle differences to keep things fresh. The story itself is very mob related, much like Vice City was. It's still very funny in parts, and there's obviously the usual spoofing of Goodfellas, godfather and so forth.
  14. Anyone got it too then? It's so good it really is criminal. Coming back to Liberty City after spending time in Vice City and San Andreas was a bit like sleeping in your own bed after you'd been on Holiday for a month. There's so much to do, or not to do. Wandering round in the Bruce Lee/The Bride Yellow and Black Jumpsuit weilding a Kitana at bystanders really is tremendously satisfying.
  15. The ECU will update as it tastes the new fuel running through its veins. My car says use 98 when you open the filler. And that's a standard spec WRX.
  16. No probs Chris. I don't mind helping out on the day if anything needs done.
  17. I'd go with Cal here. Backroad from Bearsden to Cumbernauld. Jump on the A80 AT OR AFTER THE ROUNDABOUT. Take the M876 to the bridge. Then follow the signs. You're looking at 30 minutes from the Auchenkillins to Knockhill at that time of the morning. It takes me 15-20 to get from it to work and I'm roughly 10 miles before KH.
  18. Has JC volunteered himself?
  19. Now that is cool. My cousin races a Super-Kart, which is 250cc shifter thing, and it is hillariously quick, so that 1100cc thing must be just even more mad.
  20. I'll be really easy to spot. I'll be the one driving the Impreza.
  21. 7:30. MAdness! I'll be there though. I just live down in Bothwell so the Showcase can be done in about 6 minutes. When late for a film.
  22. How much did it cost + fitting if you don't mind me asking GSP. I was thinking about one for mine. Although the ability to stop might be a more important next purchase.
  23. PM back at you Chris. I'll restate my point though - if someone with more experience of these events can offer then please by all means take the Job. Otherwise - lets kick the tyres and light the fires. I feel the need. THE NEED FOR SPEED. I'll hit the brakes and he'll fly right past. You were in a 4g inverted dive with an Evo 8 FQ400? Yes Ma'am. Sorry, got carried away there.
  24. Chris, I've got sat nav so don't mind doing it. I've never been on one of these runs before so I don't know what constitutes the right pace though. So I will volunteer, but only if someone else more qualified can't be found.
  25. Tino, I take it you got your gearbox troubles sorted? 13 seconds without third (it was third you broke at KH wasn't it) would be mighty impressive.
