  1. In the 05 it was a case of taking out the fascia round the stereo to get in underneath it to then pop it out. I think the interior is the same. There used to be a good thread somewhere about taking the 05 interior apart. It all starts at the gear stick surround - unclip that towards the rear of the car and then it starts to expose all sorts of wonderful screws!
  2. http://www.tyresave.co.uk/tyresize.html Check what size you have just now and see what new ones would match.
  3. If it's the same size of box as the Hayward and Scott one then you can buy a bung ready made from them. All I had to do was drill a hole in the tip of the backbox to let me put a bolt through (bung was pre-drilled). Works a treat, although it does drop the power. I should really just buy a better backbox.
  4. There you go. You need to get the link from Flickr's view other size pages and then run it through something like this for the best effect - http://www.fatreg.net/flickrtools/flickr-bbcode.html
  5. Quality, will take a gander at the library/WH Smiths
  6. Hmmm, now you mention it - I can't remember the last time I got one. I suspect I forgot to renew my membership.
  7. Sweet. The Rally armor mud flaps are nice. Saw a few cars sporting them down at the gathering. As you said - bit more tints on the rear lights and the microwave will ding because that'll be it done.
  8. Was trying for the streaking car look. Kind of worked I suppose. Roll on next year!
  9. Here's two from today John. Missed your first timed run and was trying something completely different in the afternoon to see how it might turn out: I'm sure the other suspects have some better and more traditional efforts.
  10. Loving the Block Monster Energy Mark 2. Great colour scheme for the car. Cracking shots. I should have got out of my scratcher and came up but I was knackered after a few busy days.
  11. Nice one Grant. You name drop all you want mate. I've been telling my Paul Newman story for the last day or so.
  12. Great shots John. Clearly trying, as usual!
  13. I'm patiently waiting for the next installment ..... Feel free to chuck any of my shots of the car in action up too Arch.
  14. Everyone, a Lotus Elan inside a Brian James race shuttle trailer was stolen from Crossford in Lanarkshrie last night. There's info here - http://www.scottish-sprinting.co.uk/flatch...topic.php?t=536 - and pictures of the car here - http://www.flickr.com/photos/st3ph3n/26088...57605794867912/ and here http://www.flickr.com/photos/st3ph3n/26145...57605794867912/ Keep your eyes peeled as it's very distinctive.
  15. Good post Arch. See you on Sunday. Remember and steer a bit more for that first corner though
  16. A stop at Doune on Sunday is WELL worth the visit. - you'll get to see maniacs like that.
  17. They look like a variant on the Cusco theme. Not sure who supplied, but it's certainly the inspiration for it.
  18. Also stuck in a report. Not only is it out of order - it's butt ugly.
  19. It's not going to take a Eurovision style call round the nations to get their votes for this one. Don't call Taggart, don't call Columbo. This is an open and shut case if ever there was one.
  20. Umm..... it's the daily mail. The day I start taking that seriously is the day they take me to Carstairs. It's racist, xenophobic and sectarian hate-filled bile written by arseholes. That would no doubt be printed next to the article that said that the <insert your favourite race/creed/sexual persuasion/political party> are currently <kidnapping/molesting/over-charging> <your mother/the old/the young>.
  21. I'd take the stealers to town and get some new shockers all round, or at least at the rear. Then get coilovers fitted at a later date. It's your warranty - make the most of it. IF you ever need to sell the car later you've got a newish set of shocks to put on it then!
  22. Got my Total Impreza magazine in the door on Saturday and the opening blurb mentioned going Monthly. Got a letter in this morning confirming this. That was the first of my subscription so I'll get the next quarterly one, then January and February. This month's looks pretty decent but I've got to say that going Monthly is rather ambitious. Subiesport in America only manages bi-monthly and I imagine they've got a bigger readership and certainly a bigger pool of cars to feature. Time will tell!
  23. Well I did what I said obviously. Had a few comments too. Think after today I might get it framed though. Is a good idea.
