  1. Hope everyone had a good evening, and here's to a great 2009.
  2. Can highly recommend ..... well everything that Cassette Boy have ever done. Mick's Tape is available in all good record shops, and some bad ones.
  3. Standard will take that okay. Standard wont take Crail launches + trackdays though as I found out. Even on standardish power
  4. Keira - John speaketh the truth. I changed mine and it wasn't too hard. Here's some more pictorial help - http://www.ehgp.com/public/impreza_my05_hu_removal/
  5. Slippery slope Higgy! One of my cousins was well over a 1000 jumps at one point! He's a proper nutter though ........... like you come to think of it.
  6. Merry christmas everyone. Get well soon Rosie. Nicola sends her best too.
  7. http://www.coys.co.uk./auctions/lot.php?au...83&id=55552 Got to be that one for me!

  9. Probably, but the red sign next to my name means I am the law! Didn't a scooby once end up in a lake too?
  10. http://vimeo.com/2585128?pg=embed&sec=2585128 Clash Productions at it again. They've done some of the cool UK drifting and time attack videos. Very stylish, well shot, good music. Wish I could do things like that - the video or the driving!

  14. Ian - yes it's true that F1 doesn't want to make me buy the cars. However it's also true of late that WRC doesn't make me want to buy them. The cars are too far divorced from what's in the showrooms now. The Impreza and the Evo were the closest, but they're long gone now! Al - if Subaru come out with the lightweight coupé that they've been doing with Toyota then I think it will be positioned to be the "fun" car of their range.
  15. I don't want to alarm anyone but apparently human kind have landed on the moon! This is incredible news. There'll be celebrations on the streets tonight!
  16. http://forums.sidc.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=125637 Try reading please.
  17. I would agree with you there Ian, but F1 has a lot more marketing potential than WRC. Live qualy and races every week in just about any country. WRC - highlights package on Dave? A sad day indeed, but with 24 hours to reflect - is this the boot in the backside that WRC desperately needed?
  18. £100m to run a rally team seems ridiculous. You get back of the grid F1 for that sort of money and I know which is the most prestigious. The rules for 2010 are for S2000 based, so they'd take an S2000 car and add a turbo and a mild aero package to it. So in theory Subaru could take the Impreza 2.0R and use that to make the S2000 car. In theory people could start doing a team dynamics style assault without manufacturer backing. They managed quite nicely in BTCC. Personally I think going to a cheaper cost is the way to bring Rally back to the glory days. No one wants to see only 6 top flight cars going through a forrest before the also rans appear. Especially when it's 2 citroens and 4 fords.
  19. Replace the doors with paper. The windows with cling film.
  20. Try doing a forced refresh in your browser - hold down control and hit F5.
  21. I put mine in to a wee local place on Saturday morning. Getting it back this Saturday. £46 for the frame, mount and glass which I thought wasn't too bad at all.
  22. Ian - wasn't the 2 days with prodrive for Wales anyway? So it'll be done and dusted now. Ford are more stable than GM but are still essentially a sitting duck. The WRC is small potatoes to a huge brand like them though. Subaru are a much smaller company and the WRC represented a farily large expenditure. I think the S2000 based rules could be okay. If Subaru and Toyota do unveil this much rumored lightweight coupe this year then whose to say that wont be appearing in 2010?
  23. Good results Derek. Saw/heard the car on .... I think Thursday last week when I was walking up to the station. Sounded great.
  24. I think it's probably a good step to getting some of the big names back in. I'm not really sure how the rules work because they assume naturally aspirated engines for the base cars that makes S2000. Then the new S2000 based rules stipulate the performance package to include the turbo. Quite how Subaru fit in with this I'm not so sure. Obviously they have the 2.0R which I'm guessing the new Rally Car would have to be based on as it's non-turbo.
  25. Proper wheels I bet they barely trouble the scales too G. Nice to see someone really doing it proper with the wheels.
