  1. I'm not actually looking to buy one!! I'm happy enough with the classic I have at the moment. I do like the two door classic shape more though so might look next year for a sti type r, depending on what the mrs will allow it
  2. with both comments but surely worth a look if someone was hunting for one ?? no? I'm a low mileage person me, but yeah your right it could be all miles done on track. Adverts have to be well written in a normal font, with a neutral color and be well spaced out to get my attention, maybe that's just the designer in me coming out. Think the 1st advert was better if my memory serves me correctly, still not the best way to attract a buyer though is it.
  3. Must be cos my car is away to go into storage for the winter shortly, that I find myself looking at other Scooby's for sale, anyways this was on ebay when I originally looked for one earlier in the year. Not keen on how its been advertised, but mileage is attractive.
  4. Any pics of Greer Sport replica ?? Surely it's gonna cost a small fortune if they have used genuine panels??
  5. Honestly tempted, but have a classic that would need shifted first.
  6. Just realised that its CAT D stolen recovered, I thought I read it was in an accident on S/N or myabe I was jjust making that up in my own little head Think the cost for a build like that was quoted as 5k, that was also on S/N by the company that did the original work.
  7. Well documented build and looks like its had a heap of cash spend on it. Tempted but my wife would fall out with me Pity its a CAT D though.
  8. Im liking this ... wrc replica on ebay Anyone fancy buying my classic?
  9. Lumly Den road, Petterden to Glamis and onto Kirrie. Short but sweet.
  10. I could be doing with a cat for next year, what size is it mate?
  11. Nae luck last night, maybe tonight though.
  12. Good plan with taking it off the road, keeps the mileage down and away from all the ****ty salt. Tax for mine runs out at end of November, will tuck it up in garage until at least March/April of next year and retax it before the MOT is due. That reminds me, need to find a centre cat for it over the winter. Fingers crossed for you mate, judging on the condition of your old one I can see this one being totally cherished as well. If I win the Euromillions the night, I will pay you just to keep it.
  13. Unless your really struggling for cash mate, dont drop the price, you know its worth what your asking, probably more.
  14. Thats a pretty poor response, where else do you have it advertised mate ? I'm guessing it depends on how many people are looking for a classic at the moment, with so many classics around that have been chav'd up or driven too hard and been unloved its a strange that its still about. I had thought about selling up last week as mine just doesnt get driven enough, I even had the advert all written up but didnt have heart to post it and funnily enough my mrs said no since I had looked so long and hard to find a good one. Well if you do end up selling and want to come back into the fold then your old one is looking pretty in my cosy garage.... lol.
  15. Driving is a bit lairy IMHO so Im not surprised that its getting a slagging. Yes by all means drive quickly and take the apex into and out of the corners, but only when you can actually see round them. Not the best time of day to be driving like that either. Looks a nice drive though. Google Maps location please !!!
  16. Think its a slow market regardless of what type of car you have to sell at the mo, saying that though I'm amazed it hasnt been snapped up for that price. I know from experience of buying your old one, a finding a nice clean example is like looking for hens teeth. Maybe worth starting a new thread for it in the FS section, maybe not get much interest cause its showing under the previous owners username ??
  17. i'd have it if I didnt already own your old blue one mate, pictures in the FS section look mint.
  18. Basically, buy a fast car from us, but we will only honour any problems if you can prove you drive it like a grandad. Ok I dont have a newer car so I might be out of place saying such a thing, statement sounds like a cop out imho.
  19. but Kinda looks good from this angle with the spoiler, still doesnt look right from behind though...
  20. Not keen on the looks, side on pics kinda makes it look like a lexus on steroids - fat a*** and no spoiler.
  21. Loving the wheels on the RB320, nice buy.
  22. come on, come on -
  23. GB Whittet Location Use him all the time, great guy, not sure if he will be able to help but I would give him a call just incase, £120 seems steep.
