  1. Howdy mate, Welcome to the forum, quite a few Dundee based folks on here, Im sure they will be along to say hello. Liking the scoob, always loved the spoiler and black lights on the bug. Similar to the old UK300 ?? Chris
  2. Yip, Star Performance. Use them for all my servicing and my remap was done by them also. Jim & Brian are top fellas.
  3. Totally agree with you on this, when I lived up in Abz, I had a guy who came all the way up from Plymouth to buy my Civic VTI-s, I listed all the wee points no matter how small or petty I thought they were. I just dont know how folk can have a clear conscience esp when folk are prepared to travel. Gutted for you mate, at least didnt buy it, many people would have considering the distance / expense that they had travelled. Chris.
  4. White all the way.... red na, doesnt look right.
  5. The bobbies in 'fit like ken country' seem to be blind when it comes to dark tints, well at least when I lived up there they were. btw, the link back to you own website from your mates website isnt working.
  6. Very Tasty.
  7. Have a look at the Polished Bliss website, Rich sometimes does days where you can go along and try your hand using a machine polisher. Ive only ever gone as far claying my Golf, and then repolishing by hand - Worth the effort but still no where as good as doing it with a machine. Chris.
  8. lol, not heard that saying for a while... Back to topic...
  9. is it just me or does the colour look two tone, boot lid looks darker or maybe its just the way the pictures been taken. Nae euromillions for me last night, so I wont be hurrying to the dealer when prices are released.
  10. Cheque books at the ready... or a bank robbery....
  11. Two of the biggest names in automotive performance have come together to work on a special one-off project, and the result promises to be truly staggering. Subaru UK and Cosworth have enhanced the performance, handling and styling of the acclaimed Impreza STI, creating a car that will raise the bar for all-wheel-drive, high-performance motoring. Detailed information about performance, specification and pricing will be made available closer to the vehicle’s March on-sale date. http://imwww.imgroup.co.uk/IMGGB/WWW/Subar...02576C70034D37A
  12. That looks totally mint, you must be very chuffed with yourselves.
  13. I could actually do that, the scoob belongs to my neighbour.
  14. Ive got til Sunday to let the guy know, I think its more money than anything else to be honest but its such a good opportunity to get a very very low mileage hawkeye which has been well cared for, will give it a day or so and push again at the weekend.
  15. Well, unless she has a change of heart over the next few days, it looks pretty gloomy from my point of view.
  16. Any discount on the price or freebies ?
  17. Pulled the baby card... didnt go down well... I reckon now is the right time to buy, yes I see her point about not needing a second car right now, etc etc, but I reckon if I dont buy one now I never will. Shes says maybe after we have started a family, but I know that once children come along I will want to put on my sensible hat and buy a family wagon. I think once there are kids in the picture, I couldnt justify buying a scoob. hacked off and fed up.... Rant over.. Chris.
  18. Offered her a holiday to Florida, which is her ultimate holiday.... thought about it for a few seconds then I got rejected. Might have to actually play the card Ive been threatening for the last few years, no babies til theres a Scoob on the drive.
  19. Been offered a mint hawkeye, any suggestions on how to talk round a very reluctant wife ??
  20. Nah, no scared me off, the reason I aint bought one yet is that Im only working part time at the moment and Ive only just finished paying for my Golf that I bought last year. If I can strike a full time contract or bag myself another two days worth of guaranteed full time work then I will be laughing all the way to the dealership. Saying that, has anybody totally spunked all their money on a car and not had to go down the finance/loan route ? I just totalled my savings combined with the wifes and holy****, I could be motoring in a scoob right now.
  21. What you looking for at the moment ? It looks like my Scooby dream wont be happening anytime shortly, although I have a shortlist just incase.
  22. Sad eh ?? ... all my time online over the past few weeks has been scooby hunting. Maybe I should change my career and become a full time scooby hunter.. btw... thats a nice spec'd car there Leslie, you must be pleased?
  23. Detective Chris thinks its this one: http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/adv...amp;logcode=emf If it is, then I would love to here what it was like to deal with them, I have my eye on a car down there. Cheers Chris.
  24. Just buy it G, then run it for a couple of months then sell it on, thats what you usually do right ??
