  1. Hello m8 do you have a fuel cut off switch on it it shuts off when you have a crash
  2. First things first good luck with the new car mate hope its as good as the right up. I think in the blue the car looks its best. I went to my local Subaru dealer and they said the ppp will add about 65hp and 50ft on the base upgrade. Subaru are working on a 2nd package with prodrive they said. but it is no confirmed as to yet whether they will sell it. The estimates figs are 100hp with 85ft but they are looking at about 2300.00 plus vat this is what he said. They have said that at this time the new sti has under sold the old one with pre orders. and the best selling Subaru was the classic. Right on to the post you put up. I think you are bang out of order to say the only people to slag the car you are getting is classic drivers. and this is because they cant afford it. well let me tell you i could get one if i wanted but i don't think i will like the new one will have to see the new sti 1st. 2nd in 2years there will be a face lift and Subaru i think will come back to making a very hard looking car. so i think there will not be that Meany on the market in 10years as the shape will change i bet you. 3rd it is a thing of the world some people will like it and some will not that's how it is. Its not that they cant afford it its just its not to there taste. Same go's for the bug eye some people did not like it some did thy don't hold the money as much as a classic did and a blob eye. If any thing the new one will hold its money because there will not be as Meany sold. I think you need to refraze your comment as you cant stereo type the classic driver as its not all classic drivers that don't like them. all-so Subaru will sell more to the company car market so yes i think the Subaru is becoming a reps car. we will see more of them with reps ect in them. like ford vauxhall ect Good luck with the new car looking forward to seeing it will be very fast car and good to drive .
  3. The 2008 Subaru Impreza STi SPIED This is the one that is going to be at the Tokyo Auto Salon in a couple months ok there is no big surprise those who didn't like the standard version will still have a hard time with this one 320HP and 412Nm of juicy torque a weight of 1.490kg
  4. This is starting to look a lot better now to me
  5. (The Scooby doesn't feel quite like it should.... because its a WRX not an STi!) So what you are saying is all the old wrx ukturbo 2000 are not a real subaru ??? My uk turbo 2000 with the set up its got keeps up with an sti. Handles like one and runs like one. The new subaru will be fast to say the least will handle well and stop well. But the out side looks cheep and the dash is just horrible. I think he is right in saying the new wrx is going to blend in with the rest and will lose the following that subaru deserve.
  6. I don't no if i would want to spend my cash on this. The evox new skyline ect are so much nicer looking cars at the mo. Its a lot of cash to be asking for a car that looks like a ford from the back and a chrysler and a alfa from the front
  7. To be fear up to 95 then yes i think the imports wrx had better inside the car But after that the uk has this and air con etc. The wrx runs a little bit more power but will not run on uk fuel with out a map or booster. A uk car with decats and a remap will be up there with the best of them from a 95/00 wrx and uk i do not think there was much in it at all. But the ra you are looking at well that's just a monster its a track weapon full stop they are well balanced cars with the gear box make them very fast in the corners
  8. If you be come a member of the sidc you will get a discount having it fitted Email Phill as i remember if you are a member of the sidc you get some money off for it. Also a zorst cat back can be 600.00 a fuel pump fitted is 150.00 induction kit is 150.00 fitted then a remap 600.00 +vat. so if you want to keep the warranty go ppp.I dont no the cost of it any more as subaru have lower the price
  9. No what you mean. I think the model after this will be sorted as Subaru will have lost so much cash on the wrx and sti they will come back to the routes. Make the classic again i wish
  10. Sorry two here this i feel for you. Hope they get there hands cut off
  11. If you want to keep the warranty then get ppp fitted as that is warranty friendly You get a zorst air filter ecu and a decat fuel pump. And more power in the mid range
  12. I would go for a uk over a jap wrx as they are the same car with in reason and when you map a uk my99 it go's like an sti but for half the cost to insure. But this it mho. I have a uk turbo 2000 on a 99 plate had the ecu remapped running 271bhp with 279 ft. When my turbo gets put on with fmic and injectors 300+ I want 290hp with 300ft . I just think if you get a good uk then its the same as a wrx as i think they are the same car. People some time say why did you no go for a wrx. I then say whats the difference tell me ?? Edited to say the ra is out of this world you will not get a harder cor Subaru for the bucks Just make sure the dccd works as it should.
  13. I did one two for my son not as good as yours
  14. Pm me who it was as i think i mite no him
  15. After an ecu reset you Drive the car as you would normally for about 50 miles not flat out for 5 minutes as the ecu gets it parameters back in order. And the boost fuel ect. The sti ecu will not learn a new turbo and the new boost and the cam timing for the uk over the sti as the parameters are set to what an sti can do it will need a map. It will be able to learn to a point of the parameters that have been set in it but it cant go past them.
  16. An sti engine has sti heads on in turn they run different cams they rev a lot higher and the pistons are harder than uk i think the sti runs different injectors. Has a different turbo so there are a lot of things to look out for you mite need to get it mapped so then its not worth doing as you can get your own mapped. The ecu you have in your car is self learning and can be mapped for £550+vat from power engineering I would say don't fit it. But i don't no so some one with more knowledge will help you. There as just so Meany things that are different to your car from an sti.
  17. I would like to no some techniques on getting my car up to show standards as i would like to enter my car for next years shows. What do i have to do what products do i use and how fare do i have to take it to be on par with the normal car that enter. Do i need to do any thing to my car I have not got the funds to replace lots of bits so any help in getting my car up to show standard will be greatly apresheated
