Thats a fair one mate.

If there was a leak in the pipes then the wastegate might not be opening causing it to overboost, or if the pipes have a blockage.

The hoses that connect the turbo, to the boost solinoid and the actuator on the turbo. Not the actual intercooler connections.

Take the hoses that you have off and squirt brake cleaner through them this will clean out any oil which has been blown into them causing them to clog. This can happen if the oil has been over filled. Do them one at a time so you dont get them muddled up. Then squirt the cleaner through the boost solinoid and dont be shy, give it a good cleaning out. If that doesnt cure the problem then its not the turbo boost hoses or the solinoid causing it to overboost because of clogging. Callum W

Its easy to pick the wrong bit to jack up (No pun intended if any junkies are reading) If its body weight bearing chances are you can jack it up, its always good to ask though if your not sure. Callum W

Exactely Podraig, just go and race. Who cares! If you get pumped by a weapon which is purpose built then you half expect it, when you race against another car prepared same as your own thats the thrill. Every man knows where his competition lies, the big boys can do some testing etc, normal dudes (If in fact any of you are normal ;-) ) Know where your fun lies,.
