  1. I think it does look ok, my only issue is it looks kind of run of the mill.. bit like a cross between a 1 series and a new Clio 197 with that rear diffuser.... Hmmmm, prefer the hawkeye but who knows, it may grow on me...
  2. Before i bought the scoob i took out a couple of elise's as i quite fancied one..... finally decided against it as i figured getting up at 6am for work and "climbing" into my car with absolutely no frills would get on my nerves after a while.... For "fun" driving i genuinely doubt it can be beaten.. bout as close to a go-kart as you can get yet still be road legal!
  3. Nice one... Once i've moved house there is a strong possibility i will be returning to the subaru scene, hopefully in the form of an early STi, 555, Type RA etc etc...... mmmm, can't wait!
  4. Strange!! Gus, how you enjoying the new car.... i'm really fancying either something like yours just now.... particularly like the 555...
  5. http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/144680.htm Seems v cheap to me........
  6. Lol.... so maybe you should have this guage so you know when there is a problem!! Answer is 250998.02, thankfully i have mutant hands and feet so was easily able to complete your challenge..... []
  7. Is the purpose of these not for "run-flat" tyres though.... guess if you (for some bizarre reason) want to spend a fortune on new run flat tyres some monitoring system is needed.... (or if your after having more guages than anyone else!)
  8. If i had your car and was thinking of buying a new scoob i would defo be looking for an STi, regardless of blob vs hawkeye.... that said i don't know what mods you have.....
  9. I'm sure someone more technical will answer soon but my view is..... No... i woudl say if a sensor needs cleaned i would remove it, maybe use carb cleaner on it alone, make sure it is fully evaporated and dry before replacing.... As i say, i'm sure someone will be able to give a more concise answer soon!
  10. I can see the rationale of securing it properly but i would be worried the spiteful little feckers would decide to screwdriver the bonnet or something instead......
  11. Looks lovely.... good ad as well.... Great car for the money...!
  12. Outstanding!
  13. Yep defo looks good... On another subject, i spotted you yest waiting to turn into the shops at hardgate about lunchtime, i was the silver mondeo which stopped to let you go even though you weren't paying attention!! []
  14. D'oh, yeh your right... ignore me!
  15. 22b perhaps?? Trust me, sensible is boring..... i got rid of my scoob for a Mondeo diesel 6 months ago now as i'm planning to buy a new house in the next 4 months or so.... its rubbish!! On the other hand, if i had a skyline track car i might not be as bothered about my daily driver!
  16. What you replacing with Fee.... or you just cutting your "Fleet"?
  17. If your keeping the original intercooler he will prolly recommend a Samco Y intercooler hose...... i had similar plans for my bugeye and thats what he recommended to me.... Cheers, Chris
  18. Fee, If you have the original gold wheels as well then i would defo go for something different... Personally i would (did) go for Anthracite although if your not keen on darker colours then white would look pretty cool.....
  19. So stereotypical it was almost unbelievable.... superb show tonight despite the fact there were very few cars in it!
  20. Good man, had totally forgot, thats cheered me up!
  21. You had a full 4 wheel alignment / geometry setup recently?? Worth doing as i'm sure it will highlight if there are any issues like damage... I would recommend the place in bonnybridge, can't remember the name but if interested give me a shout and i'll dig out the paperwork..
  22. AlanG - Think the post was actually agreeing with you, the "wrong" being in relation to fault..... may be talking rubbish but thats how i perceived it....
