  1. Gotta say that I can't seem to get behind England, nothing against English people or the players, just don't want them to do well cos i can't be bothered listening to it for the next 40+ years.... The whole "neighbour" thing is a bit much as well, do Celtic fans support Rangers when Celtic ain't playing, no, vice-versa, no... course not, otherwise they wouldn't be "rivals" would they... On another note come on the Czech Republic (no reason other than i like them!)
  2. Happy Birthday Vicki, hope Peter bought you something nice.....!
  3. Yip, hate it when people say things like "the acting is so wooden" my only response is "Acting... ??!??!? oh right, was that behind the cars?" lol
  4. Looking forward to it!
  5. I recently heard about this road also and was recently re-surfaced....with a hump in the road too.[Y]Is that the road? Yip, the majority of it is re-surfaced and there a couple of little humps... had the gf in the car so wasn't going particularly quick but i'm pretty sure you could fairly easily get off the ground over the hump! Just stumbled on it by chance out on a leisurely Saturday (sunny) evening jaunt.....
  6. I'm not going to pass judgement cos i've done some stoopid things in the past, i do still drive fast at times and there is no denying i bought a Subaru for its speed......... Generally a lot more cautious about where i do it now though.... Altho part of that is cos i have 6 points! On another note i was driving between Greenock and Kilmacolm at the weekend and that is a superb road! Not one for high speeds but loads of nice bumps n bends with good visibility through most of it!
  7. Anyone done this on a newage? Is it a pain to do? I live on a main road n have to fold my mirrors in anyway so would be nice for it to be done for me!
  8. Same thing happened to me with my last car, was a Black RX8 and the guy was rinsing it when i arrived after dealing with a big scuff on the rear quarter (car park incident as usual!) Drove home and by that time it has all dried and there was a glue like residue everywhere and had to go all the way back for him to polish it up, wasn't amused! Well fingers crossed for you!
  9. Few too many hard launches there Fee!! Your quite right to be fussy, you shouldn't be able to tell any work has been done, if its noticeable its not right!! Hope you get it sorted this time!
  10. P1ggm, Was it 5.25's you put in?
  11. Delorean, exact replica of the time machine in BTTF.... Wonder why it was removed?!
  12. What size are the speakers in a newage? Front - ? Rear - ? Would it be a straight take one out put new one in job?
  13. D'oh - I'm a complete diddy and didn't pay any attention to the date, i'm in London that weekend.... Sorry to mess you about! If its moved back i'll defo be up for it though.......
  14. Good Luck mate.... !
  15. Good stuff Fee! I'm loving the porsche, looks very tidy for the age....
  16. Welcome......... need to get a pic of the car up!
  17. Not 100% now.... think it was but maybe talking rubbish... been looking on the net and you can get the 50" samsung for about £1650..... Not sure if i would buy from a net only retailer that i'm not 100% comfortable with though....
  18. Was in Costco today and they had a 50" Samsung DLP for £1799, picture looked outstanding.... hmmmm I currently have a 32" Loewe TV, its big (casing) but its a lovely picture and with the built in Linn Speakers sounds lovely....
  19. Surely logic wins in this case but when any "official" body is involved who knows. Hope the decision gets turned over ASAP mate....
  20. If i could stretch my current budget a little i would prolly end up with a TVR.... Very silly choice if you look at it logically but...... they sound soooo good! O/T - Doug, cheers, looks a lot tidier, TBH i thought the garden was a bit of a mess wi bits of slab, chuckies n bark... plus a whole lotta weeds!! Just to paint the outside now and thats me for this house!
  21. Seen a white exige on Gt Western Rd last night Doug... mmmmm, v nice. Would have to be a 2nd car really though, took out an Elise before buying the scoob and it was great fun but not an everyday car! E46 M3 for me i think..... or an older (993 maybe) 911.....
  22. I know its maybe a bit late now Chris but did you take this as high as possible within the DVLA.... Sounds like a bit of a joke to me, especially as you will be the one that loses out on insurance costs etc etc.....
  23. Very Sorry to hear this Gus,
