I'm on my first tank of Tesco 99 at the mo, always used V power previously... we shop in tesco though and got a 5p off a litre, net result 94.9 for a tank of 99 ron petrol, gotta be worth a shot!!

Hi, Got a bit of an issue.... My car is remapped to run 1.3bar of boost... which it consistently done fine until about 2 weeks ago i changed the insert on my SSQV DV as it was too loud for me... since then it hits a max of 1.1 bar and every now and then upon acceleration feels flat and max's at 0.5 bar.. as soon as i come off the gas and floor it again it will go back up to 1.1 bar... I assume the DV is related, could i have bumped something when removing it then putting it back? I'm planning on sticking a std re-circ back on, any thoughts? Last question on the std re-circ.. anyone got any pics on what goes where... my car has an FMIC and has the re-circ blanked off so i'm not quite sure what goes where... Cheers Chris

Certainly possible... not highly recommended on Turbo'd vehicles but still possible.. Only thing is around the mapping, my bro has it done on his BMW 320... it has a seperate ECU now and a switch on the dash to go between fuel / LPG...... not sure how this would work alongside the ECUTEK....

Steve, I can't find the details i have prevoiusly read about the Japanese fuel not being 100 ron until later years so don't want to recommend it, maybe i'm going mental.... To be on the safe side think the SUL / V-Power + Octane Booster seems the safest bet........

Geez that was quick!! Superb, cheers... Whats everyones views?? Would it be a full boot respray if taking it off?? I know most people like the big wing but i personally prefer the stealth look, think i may go for anthracite wheels and get rid of the spoiler.....

What year of WRX is it and where was it imported from..... If its a newage from Japan then it is mapped for 100ron fuel and as such you would be best to get it re-mapped asap... if its a classic that was pre 96ish then it would be mapped for 95 as it wasn't until after this time they had their 100 ron as standard...... don't take all of the above as gospel but have a read about.... Plus, is V-Power not 98 ron ?

Think Stephen has changed the default auto-filter on not showing anything older than 2 months.. as per the town and county thread..

Don't think its you mate... think it is the alarm... Do you have a spare key fob, ie the spare? If so maybe have it handy and if it happens give it a shot... on the other hand though entering the pin into the keypad should defo have worked.... i would try and get Subaru or a Sigma alarm specialist to take a look (that said i may be barking up the wrong tree but thats where i would be heading towards)
