  2. GINGER ? Andy Forrest is ( er strawberry blonde) or ginger as we say in Ecosse and Ginger Rogers starred in The Glen Miller Story ....... and Ginger is a vegetable I think this must be 3 laps for sheer effort. And by the way did you mean Glenn ? and receptacle []
  3. George Forrest was a composer who worked with Glenn Miller.......... Andy has a brother called George ? probably not ! http://www.answers.com/topic/the-fabulous-glenn-miller-rca This is getting worse than Radio 1's tedious links
  4. How's this for off the beaten track and completely b0llocks ! Rum and Coke ............................Andy F was in St Lucia not so long ago and got wired into the stuff every night.....and 3 crazy broads sang about Rum & Coke in a tribute to Glen Miller [] http://www.purdue.edu/Bands/news/061019Miller.html ? Three female singers - Rachel Kirkpatrick of West Lafayette, Darby Brignac of Jasper and Erica Bourdage of Carmel - bring the Andrews Sisters to life performing “Rum and Coca Cola” dominated by calypso rhythms and “Apple Blossom Time.” One of AMRE's trombonists, Bryant Gilliam of Indianapolis, shifts to the vocal spotlight for “I Got a Gal From Kalamazoo.” He re-creates the amiable singing style of Tex Beneke that made Miller’s novelty numbers big hits. Trout says the band, in keeping with its mandate, will do the full concert version of the tune instead of the condensed version.
  5. Some great pics of this lovely machine in here :- http://bbs.scoobynet.com/members-gallery-5...baby-today.html Can I exist on only one kidney ? Cal

  13. Ace news folks ! Seems the spring has sent folk modding like mad ! Glad you like the ECU tickling treatment CGS
  14. When will the new (dawg ersed) WRX go on sale in the UK ? The reason I ask is can we expect to the price tags of 2007 WRX & STi's being dropped big time before then ? I know dealers are doing £1000 off list prices just now but when will they start slashing them big time ? Cal ( potential hawkeye buying faction)
  15. the rolling radii will be the same ...........gap should similiar CGS
  16. I used to like you.......... These look fantastic in the flesh. Smartnav and ipod cnnection too and from a kiddy transportation perspective, extra sound deadening.... Will you be able to resist tracking the new beast ? What did they give you for the 02 STi outta interest ( PM if necessary) - just wondering what they will put it back out on the forecourt for ?! Enjoy Cal
  17. Here's the car Andy F was working on in St Lucia...................fairly new video ( repost ?) Either way listen to the turbo spooling ! CGS
  18. Spill the beans on the new machine then Johno ! Two years free servicing is not to be sniffed at. From what I have seen they are dropping the prices of the used cars quite heavily too. CGS
  19. On second thoughts I think we ought to wait and see what the STi will look like. Subaru have made a few boobs in the past so I am fairly confident they'll make amends and the STi will be drool worthy after all. I was watching the Irish tarmac rallies and the Focii were occupying most of the top ten slots - Suabru need a rapid hatch to compete. Classics will always look good but they are starting to show their age tbh. If they really make an erse of the new Scoob then I will deffo be going hawkeye. I think they look tremendous.....
  20. Yeah............mine is still original. Gearbox and clutch are exceptionally sweetly but that's becuase I am ( probably unecessarily) paranoid about them going pop so tend to look after them... Dont get me wrong..........you cannot beat the adrenaline rush of dragging but the subsequent guilt was too much to bear !
  21. I ain't a turbo expert but one thing I know is that the VF series are no as bullt proof as the TD's so running a higher boost can be more of a gamble. Having said that Andy F said he'd never heard of a VF35 fail but some of the older VF's were not as tough CGS
  22. I have been debating this as my existing time ( in the SIDC thread) is chronic and hails from when I had 250 bhp [:$] As gay as it sounds I dont like the abuse that Q'miling gives the car. You car is pretty cold and then you subject it to a full launch. I'm @ 62k miles now and my clutch and gear box are running perfectly. I can't help feeling they might go pear shaped on the strip..................but never say never, I reckon I could get a pretty decent time now [<)]
  23. "Reeeel Purdy " !! Hope you enjoy the new beast Jono ! I'm gonna miss those flames dude ! Always liked the P1...........uber cool CGS
