  1. My rear suspension has finally given up (surprise, surprise!). I have been toying with the idea of replacing it with TEIN superstreets. Are they any good for general road use? I am used to a pretty firm ride ( ) as I have PRODRIVE springs fitted just now. Anybody got any suggestions who has them fitted.......
  2. John, Magic pics mate, have you sent the article to "True Grip" as well? It would be good to see some articles from North of the border in the SIDC magazine.
  3. I know these are a wee bit late but I finally got a broadband internet connection back.
  4. Good figures Richie. I'm getting almost the same done to mine (except Andy Forrest TD05-16g turbo and different exhaust setup). I'm booked in with Andy for mapping in January. Similar figure would be nice
  5. I went without one for about five months and hated every minute of it. Don't do it.
  6. Post up who you go with Bobby, I think I might be in a similar situation shortly
  7. MMMMM...those wheels look familiar!!
  8. David, I will take the Bugeye one. Cheers (you've been Paypal'd)
  9. I love that first pic Kaylz. The forrester sti was behind me for a bit (on the way down to Galashiels I think) - What a car!! Thats the first time I have been on the road with one, I couldn't believe how it seemed to handle - well impressed.
  10. I have some with you in them as well Cathy, I will email them to you at the weekend. Red IS best!!
  11. Hypertech is in Bonnybridge, near Falkirk and no - there's not much to do there. I usually end up standing around and asking Dunc silly questions while he works on my car. I can't recommend him enough, he really knows his stuff and is really helpfull too.
  12. Mods complete for 2008?? Just another five weeks to wait then!
  13. Kenny, It was me. I have some video clips but they are a bit bouncy (the joys of Prodrive springs ). There's a good one of you getting away on the road to Galashields. Pm me your email address and I will send them to you at the weekend. Fraser
  14. I wondered how long it would be before you posted up!! Good to hear everything went well.
  15. I can't see the pics... I'm connected to the internet via a dongle and they are taking ages to download!! I will post mine up when I get back home at the weekend. (I thought my car was pretty sluggish on the day - I put it down to having two passengers - only discovered I had been in low boost all day on the way back home from Melrose )
  16. Grant, Coming from Glasgow, it's just straight up Carnwath main street, straight across the wee mini roundabout at the top and the garage is about 400 metres further on on the left. Give me a bell if you have any snags....
  17. Just ordered a set of Tarox sport Japan discs and Mintex extreme pads....... I would have got the DS2500's if I didn't have to shell out for some other things as well.
  18. No worries David, As you come into Carnwath from that direction, turn left at the wee mini roundabout and the garage is just as you are about to leave the village on the left hand side. See you Saturday, Fraser
  19. Sorry folks - finger trouble - I will be there from 0820. I wasnae going to bother with the bacon rolls - as there is so many turning up now..........not unless you really want some. Fraser
  20. I'll make sure I'm at the front then!!
  21. It now looks as if about ten cars are meeting in Carnwath As there might be a few issues getting so many cars parked at my house, can we meet at Wilsons Garage instead (still in Carnwath) It's right at the top of Carnwath Main street (straight over a little mini roundabout and about 400 yards further on, on the left hand side) It's an old petrol station with all the pumps removed so, has plenty of room for parking. I'll be there from about 0820. My mobile number is 07843626407 if anyone has any snags or gets lost (Cathy ) Fraser
  22. The cars looking the dogs B**locks, Al. It's making me feel lazy reading all the stuff you done yourself!!
  23. Looking good Paul, the seats look better in the car than in your living room
  24. Cheers for the opinions
  25. How do you sign up to be a "Scottish Scooby Supporter"? I am more than happy to part with some cash for a good cause..... I always wondered how they got the emblem on the avatar......... Fraser
