  1. I thought you were keeping them distracted so me and Bobby could go straight to the hotel
  2. I thought it was crackin' mate. We came up and stayed in Inveness on the Friday night so had a wee pre-run mini convoy. Apart from the mishap with the meal (which was out of everyones hands) I thought it was excellent. Maybe have to plan in some motorway driving so I don't get lost the next time We'll be back up for the next one.....
  3. I've got Tarox Sport Japan Discs with Mintex extreme pads on mine and am happy with the set up........not too messy either (unless you have white wheels!)
  4. You probably would have drove past the Loch to get to the Auction house (Mcrae meeting point), it's on your left hand side just as you leave Lanark.....it's dead easy to find.
  5. I have an STi intercooler and alloy pipe on my WRX, I had an aftermarket silicone one on before with my WRX intercooler. They both look the same size to me. I'm pretty sure your one should fit an STi I/C. Remember you will need to use an STi undertray to get the most from the larger surface area of the STi I/C.
  6. I thought it was you when you passed us going the other way through Glen Coe....
  7. Got back a few hours ago as I had to come back early to pick up my kid. What a magic weekend and what a good selection of roads (even the unscheduled ones I took when I got lost .....TWICE). The run back down this morning was nice and quiet too Good meeting some new faces too. I will post up some pictures when I get my broadband sorted. Congratulations Debs and Jon
  8. I've just moved away from Carnwath. There are another two from around Lanark that I know of who post on here, and my brother is in Biggar but I'll let them put their names down themselves.
  9. Just saw a LOVELY R35 GTR going through Dumbarton. The first one I've seen in the flesh, they look absolutely AWESOME, very similar to the one in the pics on page one.......I WANT ONE
  10. I would love to see some pics of the Murtaya if you have any.......welcome by the way
  11. I had whiteline front strut brace, rear ARB, droplinks and anti lift kit fitted to my bugeye and then got Hypertechs fast road geometry and that made the world of difference to the cornering. Then I got the TEIN coilovers and so did that!!
  12. I had the exact same problem a while back on my old blobeye......
  13. I gave mine a wee going over the other day too........still need to give it a bash with the clay bar before the Skye run. 'moan the Bugeyes!!
  14. I was across at Steves at the weekend and had a wee look at your car, it looks awesome in the flesh.... the pics don't really do it justice.
  15. Ideal, I'll PM you closer to the time.....
  16. Hello and welcome mate....good to see another bugeye
  17. Yep, it my real D.o.B.....the big 4-0 is fast approaching!!
  18. Hello and welcome to the club mate - as above, SW Motorsport (in Easter Howgate) gets my vote - although he can't do the alignment, Hypertech (in Bonnybridge) is also very good but are a wee bit further away from you....(they can do alignment, so can PROGRIP who are just round the corner from them). I was across at Steves today and had a wee look at your car Chris....the pictures you posted don't do it credit - it looks better in the flesh. Fraser
  19. Indian is good for us too........and perhaps a few socialble drinkies.
  20. Keep an eye out for a mica red bugeye - I'm in Helensburgh as well. Welcome to the club Does that mean we can have a convoy to the Glasgow meets
  21. I think (some) people just appreciate nice cars......I was driving along the M8 through Glasgow in slow moving traffic last week. I became aware of a car to the right of me matching my speed, so had wee glance over. It was a Focus full of about five young guys all staring hard over at me/the car. I started to get a wee bit edgy at this time and started looking for escape routes.........Then the two that were sitting at the side closest to me gave me thumbs up and started pointing at the car. Morale of the story........not all wee neds are theiving bar stewards!!
  22. Bobby, 1415 @ Stirling suits me fine. We'll meet you there and then head up to Perth to pick up the others
  23. I'm easy, I finish work at midday and it will be about a couple of hours for us to get to Perth. I'll go with the best time for everyone.
  24. Sounds good. Looking at AA autoroute it is only about 2 1/2 hours from Perth to Inverness. Hopefully we'll get a few more and get a wee convoy going.
