  1. Cheers fella!
  2. You just want to whip past me on the corners!!
  3. I picked up a copy of "TOTAL IMPREZA" today (from W H Smiths in Helensburgh!) and I'm in it TWICE. Great write ups for the Falkirk Wheel meet and Horsepower Heroes up at Hypertech (Dunc was telling me about my fuelling issues in the pic - you can almost see my wallet groaning!!). Well done to everyone who orginised both these events (£870.00 raised for Help for Heroes) and Dave Pearson for covering them for the mag.
  4. Sorry folks, I am now on call back for the weekend with work and will not be able to make this now.
  5. Kenny, Are you going to wait for me and scoobzie to pass and head through together? Fraser
  6. I've never been either but I think it's just a 1/4 mile strip....I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong
  7. I'll agree with that....couldn't believe how well it cornered when Mikey took me round knockhill.
  8. Congratulations........no chance of her arriving late in that car

  12. The TEINS are definately "bumpier" than the prodrive springs on normal roads. I noticed quite a difference going from Prodrive springs to the TEIN Superstreets....I do like them for cornering though!
  13. Would be interested to hear opinions on this one I am an electronic and electrical engineer and with the resistor in the circuit (replacing the airbag) there should be no reason for the airbag system to be disabled...............so I would be interested to hear of any horror stories.
  14. Al - that's exactly what I'm doing. PM inbound
  15. Been looking at the same mod myself but they seem pricey for what they are (Roger Clark motorsport one is £45 before postage!!). I would be interested to see if anyone that has them fitted think they make any difference.......except for cosmetic of course.
  16. That's the reason for the resistor - the monitoring system sees it as the airbag (the resistance of the airbag being around 3 OHMS) and the rest of the airbags remain active.
  17. Cheers Derek, I will measure it with a multimeter when I get the seats off, but I just wanted to get everything together before I start to remove the seats.
  18. I have an 01 WRX which has airbags fitted to the front seats which I'm going to replace (with seats with no airbags). Does anyone know what value of resistor I have to fit to the plug to fool the moitoring system into thinking the airbags are still in place (and not make the "airbag" dash wanrning light come on)? I can't just measure them with a multimeter as they are a pain to get to with the seats in place, and I want to remove the old seats fit the resistor and fit the new seats in the shortest possible time. 3 ohm resistors ring a bell........can anyone confirm this??
  19. Welcome to the forum mate.........the expression in the first pic says it all!!
  20. I hope it's as simple as a remap for you Kenny - You know the snags I had with mine recently........knackered MAF,fuel pump, filter etc. Might be worth speaking to Dunc up at Hypertech....... You don't want to get all your goodies fitted, go for a mapping and not be able to get it done.
  21. Brand new metallic black Citreon AX 1.1 Forte (M reg I think)..........great times in that car, commuting from Lanark to Portsmouth and Plymouth on the weekends!!
  22. Just back. Excellent (Dry) day. Cheers to Mikey for the pax laps.........love your wee exige. I will hopefully be able to return the favour soon (only I'll be like driving miss Daisy) Cheers to Neil for the loan of the helmet. Fraser
  23. Andy Did you grow up around Biggar? I went to school there....I'm just wondering if I know you. See you up there tomorrow....what will you be driving? Fraser
