Chris, Does that mean I have to settle for second pax lap

What time does this start? I have looked through the threads and can't find times I am thinking of taking a more sceanic route there as sitting in the 40mph roadworks up the M80 / A80 all the way up to Falkirk was a wee bit monotonous last weekend.....

Shh....it's a secret As always cheers for the replies and opinions above. I am happy with the power that's being produced but just want it to come in quicker (call me impatient!!). I'm not running a massive turbo for that reason (Andy Forrest TD05 16G). I don't have a boost controller fitted, so might have to look into that........either that or go back to Andy F and ask for a high and super high dual map Fraser

I am thinking of fitting a lightened flywheel, lightened pulleys and a short shift gear lever. What I'm after is a quicker spool up and being quicker through the gears. I've noticed on a couple of runs (especially noticable with classics) it seems that they initially start to accelerate quicker (I realise they are lighter, certain models have close ratio gears etc etc). Ever since getting the last lot of engine work done I've felt the turbo kicks in later than before. I'm happy with the power once it comes in, I am just wondering if this would make it come in any quicker. Would this combination make any noticable difference? Has anyone got lightened gear fitted - any good/bad points? (I believe you have to give it a wee bit more beans when pulling away and engine breaking is reduced). I think I just heard my wallet groaning

Cathy, Lisa's brother has used Magma a couple of times and they do a good job.

Not sure about the STi but on a new age WRX the PPP is just a Prodrive remap, one of the cats (in the mid pipe) removed and a prodrive backbox.

.....me too. I will be coming down but I don't think my car will be going on the stand. I've never been to this event before so don't know how it runs etc.

I got mine fitted at the same time as some other whiteline stuff (front strut brace, droplinks and anti lift kit) and the difference was like night and day, it just felt so much more planted when cornering.......I've not noticed the back end getting twitchy (but I drive like an old woman!!)

I suppose I better buy this months copy then!! I didn't realise it was going to be in it
