  1. As we will be heading up to Inverness on the Friday, I was wondering if anyone else wanted to meet enroute and convoy up. We will be leaving from Helensburgh and heading across to Stirling (possibly meet up with any of the Central region). Heading up the A9 to Perth (possibly meeting up with any Edinburgh / Fife region if they come up the M90). Heading up the A9 to Inverness. Anyone else interested in meeting up (or have any better suggestions for routes etc)??
  2. Chris, Maybe she would let you swap it for a nice red bugeye I know a guy who would be willing to swap!! I'll need to get across to "your tuner" to have a look at the beast in the flesh.....
  3. Nice looking car mate, nice spec too. Welcome to the forum.
  4. 2/3 May. I am in the middle of packing my house up to move next week so I doubt I will get up there (unless I can sneak out )
  5. Chris, are you back for the Skye run? I'm looking forward to seeing some pics of your "new" car.......
  6. Got a free new set with the front calipers and I'll need to reuse the rear ones.
  7. Yes, I've just had some Tarox sport Japan discs and Mintex extreme pads fitted. It was when the old ones came off that I saw how bad they were, the brakes were freed up then but they've got steadily worse since then. Just ordered the decals for them; http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Subaru-WRC-STI-rally...ticker-white-x5
  8. Aye, I think I will get some white lettering to match my wheels before they get fitted.
  9. After my front calipers getting progressively worse and finally binding on, resulting in my pads being worn into wedges and generally being run down all round, I decided to take the plung and get a refurbished set from Godspeed. They arrived today. I'm well impressed with them, the pictures don't do them justice. Just need to fit them now.....
  10. Not many, just got them fitted about a month ago.....I do like the feel of the car with them on though.
  11. If it's broke upgrade it!! Mine were knocking at the back too. I've got TEIN superstreets on mine and have got no complaints with them (except being a wee bit stiff).
  12. Nice car mate.......lovely colour . As for the wheels ........I'd go for white myself
  13. Do you have contact details for Progrip? - I need mine done after fitting the TEINs.....
  14. I've had mine done at Hypertech in the past , Progrip is around the same sort of area - but I have never used them.......
  15. Outstanding!! how did you you do it........was it photoshop?
  16. I agree, the secondhand injectors and top mount I have on my bugeye came from a blob or hawk eye originally.......Got them from Greenwood racing developments (http://domain1046568.sites.fasthosts.com/)
  17. I have a Bugeye as well and the TD05 16g is a simple bolt on (or at least mine was)........no modification required
  18. I've got an Andy F TD05 16g and the same supporting mods as you (injectors, pump, I/C etc) and I'm well chuffed with it. Early spool up and good power / torque...... Andy managed to squeeze over 330/320 from mine so you will get the power you're after from it.
  19. Yes - you should be able to pull it out and push it in quite easily. Try some WD40 on it.
  20. This sounds interesting.......that's a good wee drive if I remember right. When are you planning the run??
  21. My rear passenger side was knocking when driving over bumpy roads.........turned out it was leaking and had to be replaced - by TEIN superstreets which are quite stiff on bumpy roads, good on the corners though
  22. Green panel filter and it's a Bugeye WRX I have.......
  23. Delete elbow is one of these and fits into the wing before your air box (I believe) I thought about fitting one but didn't bother in the end - I had snags sourcing one. You'll be alright with just a free flow filter for a stage one I think.... (that's all I have) I've just noticed you have a classic.........that maybe will make a difference
  24. I've got mintex extreme pads with Tarox sport Japan discs on the front (with braided hoses) and my car stops on it's nose! I've heard nothing but good stuff for DS2500 as well......
