I couldn't travel all the way down to Warick so here are a few pics from Lanark and on the road down..........
What a a magic morning, I was gutted to turn back
Finally got round to doing mine as well, was in Lanark for fuel earlier and there are already a few scoobs about.............and the sun is shining (for now)!!
I had to get one from Cathy (midnight 21) that was on her car and it peeled off quite easily - it was on glass though. Didn't leave any marks that a polish wouldn't remove.
You better tell Alex not to phone the house phone again, after the last time
I'm just waiting for a quote from Duncan for my next round of mods - now that Lisa is working again
I got one from my local dealers (Nobles in Penicuik) they had them on the shelf, and it wasn't too dear either.
Might be worth a phonecall.......mine is mica red or you could have borrowed it!!
I wouldn't worry too much Imy, I've had people (non Subaru drivers) asking me in the street in Lanark if I'm going to the "Colin McRae thing" when they've seen me getting out of the car.......my mum even wants to go and see the turn out!!
I know the road well - it is a magic wee stretch of road, I discovered it when I was out and about over the Summer (just after I got my whiteline goodies fitted )
I'm doing the same mate, I will probaby go down to around Carlisle / Killington lake services before coming back up- I know there are a couple of others doing the same.
Nice looking car mate and welcome, it would be good to see you at the McRae gathering if you can make it, there is a convoy heading through from Edinburgh if you fancy it. Check the events section for meeting times and route.
Take a look in the "Items For Sale" section mate, there are some nice ones in there at the moment around the price you are looking at. I would rather get mine off someone on here - at least you will know it's history and that it has been looked after.
I get around 300 miles from a tank and mine has a few mods and a remap.....
I had a really good time today, first time I have been to Knockhill and it hasn't been freezing or blowing a gale. I will need to give it a go on the track sometime soon......
