another vote for C&C here. Extremely happy to help and dealt with all my daft questions. they did a great job fitting a new centre pipe, backbox and tail pipe for my classic for a very good price. gave them the instruction of "like for like" and my RA sounds great now... she even pops at low revs, didnt used to do that before!

lol whats it like being that tall bobby?!

good stuff Jon, thanks for taking this on. I've seen these tops and they are very good quality. I used to do the clothing and they were very popular (unfortunately the company I was using shut down). For the old timers who already have SS clothes, they must be getting a bit raggedy, worn and slightly tight by now so get yourself some new togs. For newbies that have joined and have started to come along to events, get yourself some club clothing, it helps us spot fellow club members in a crowd and plus, we'll know who you are. Imy

very true. folk started sharing their own stories about seeing L555 in action and its amazing to see the impact that Colin McRae had on so many of us. ha ha! I never even noticed that, here's one of Grant in a similar stance with Lord Harding, the man behind the NBO

Grant, Andy and I took the Colin McRae Vision roadshow to Lightwater Valley this weekend. we were allowed to take L555BAT with us, as well as some of the new Colin McRae Vision clothing we travelled down on Saturday and it was a fairly uneventful journey... apart from when Grant and Andy wanted to look for a place to buy beer and cigarettes before arriving at the camp site and had to do a sudden U turn in a wee town street in a transit towing a car trailer cos we'd driven past a Co-op, which made me shriek "remember what you're towing" we had a tv, dvd machine and some Colin McRae dvds with us (as part of our stand) and once we'd arrived and set up the tents, fired up the generator and watched the '95 WRC rally before turning in. here's some pics of the Vision stand, didnt really take many pics of the other stands or cars bumped into our good friend Jackie from Prodrive, she was up as a guest on the LADS stand and also to make sure the P2 that they had was looked after correctly many thanks to Andy for giving up his weekend and helping us out oh and the polo shirts we are wearing are the new ones we've made up to celebrate the McRae Gathering finale at Chester, available in the shop at www.mcrae-gathering.co.uk very soon imy

when? on the Sunday at Chester? nah, it sounds too much like hard work to me
-
the Gathering write up has been updated and our website has even been added to their "Links" page, described as Home of the organisers of last year’s Subaru tribute convoy from Lanark to Banbury so so chuffed to see that, especially as the other links are such high profile companies, brought a wee tear to my eye

Happendon services is probably a better location to meet, easily accessible, Shell station, big car park and toilets
-
just had a look at the http://www.rrrrallye.co.uk/ website and its good to see something worthwhile come from a tragic accident. I hope that future events and initiatives have the same success as this rrrallye event

Perhaps maybe

sounds like you guys had a good time the stand looks great, love the SIDC Moray sails that dog is big, eh? well done to everyone that took part, the Moray area seems to have grown quite a bit and is establishing its own links with the community did the cars that have SIDC number plates on them look like that on the day or has that been been edited in afterwards? it looks smart

do the specifics of which RR is better than the others really matter? It seems like we've lost sight of the purpose of the day. a get together with the Nissan lot, have a laugh and most importantly raise money for the charity that Hypertech have chosen.
