  1. Any chance of a larger version please fella, without the pure white number plate? Stunning pic.
  2. Could you be thinking about this one.... http://forums.sidc.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=122196
  3. Fek thats graphic, but even though i reckon they'd get a few complaints....thats what is needed. Very touching clip. Thanks for that Davie.
  4. Pirelli P-Zero Nero Had em on the 19's on the old RB5 and currently fitted to faithers WRX-S. Great on dry and wet tarmac.
  5. I have a set of 10mm spacers here fella, with some longer studs, although i think one may be missing for some reason. Give us a shout if it's of interest. With these both fitted to my old RA, my Turini's missed the Brembos by enough.
  6. There aren't many turbo charged 4WD cars that do so much, for so little money, while not being TOO old and parts being so plentiful and cheap. That's what does it for me........and the fact they are easy to work and no major need for dealers to "plug them in".
  7. Stephen....don't. The money you'll lose selling your current car will hurt and the "sensible" car you buy will lose even more money. MPG isn't a big to you by the sounds of it....it's mainly boredom, BUT this will come back once the newness of the next car disappears. God, even i'm back in the fold again..........but don't tell anyone.
  8. Gotta admit...that a crackin pic!
  9. That looks gorgeous fella, good work! Not a great fan of the grille mind you, but it still works well. Nice to see a bugeye looking smart and not all tarted up to the heavens.
  10. I would be gutted, but would be wondering why they done it in the first place....too serious to be a one-off. Nor would i take the car back. The paintwork has a good chance of going bad in the future and i doubt i could trust leaving the car again, open to more attacks.

Nothing really different from any other Scoob tbh fella. Front splitter gets stone chips like nobodys business. Disconnect MAF to make sure it stalls. Make sure when going through the revs, theres no flat spots. And then usual stuff like history, panel gaps, etc. Is it standard or modded?
  13. Surely if they've done damaged you should ask them about it? Chassis in the newages is FAR beyond the classics....well the design IS about 20 years old now. Classics will defo always feel better driving them, but get a newage to the weight of a classic and say bye-bye. IMO!
  14. Looks good, but is it me or does the motor look like it's sittin on stilts?
  15. He's always been looking for too much money for the car imo. How much is your RB5 priced at?
  16. You had an SIDC and McRaeGathering sticker on your rear window...i was in the WRX-S behind you. Must say, your car was spotless.
  17. 330s is 31k. Lot of cash...
  18. Limited edition mate. Dunno how many, but the WRX-S is about 200.
  19. Go away Frank. Cheers Colzo.
  20. Not sure about the flaps, but the other details really make the car.
  21. Thanks, we will. Actually going back down on Saturday, as it should have had an STi front lip fitted too it, but they forgot. I might get lucky and they'll fit it for me. lol
  22. Lol at Davie, Colin and Jimser. Our options were the pearl white, or black and hee-haw else. Soon as i seen the white, it looked the part and looks MUCH better in the flesh, as you simply can't see the colour properly in pics. Back lights aren't too bad in the flesh either......if you don't look right at them. I have seen someone in the US paint the inside of them red in area's and it looked good, but dunno if it really warrants it. Only just found out last night the main differences in power to the STi. This has 251hp + 287 lbs ft, the STi has 297hp + 300 lbs ft, but the STi weighs another 110 kgs ontop of the WRX-S' weight, so power-to-weight is only different by 15hp. I reckon the torque is higher than the STi's in regards to weight? Sad i know, but i had bugger all to do last night.
  23. Cheers fella's. Brakes are still the same Ed, but felt v. progressive and sticky, so good enough IMO. I'm still so shocked at how good it is, especially for the price.
  24. Too true! I never expected to like it as much as i did. I knew i liked the STi especially in white, but this being pearl white and still being just a WRX, the extra bit's, certainly make it look a LOT better. Almost STi looks for bargain price.
  25. ........i love it! Faithers new WRX-S... Very good deal through John Spicer at S&S and thanks to Dougie for the help;). Tomorrow will hopefully see some Swissvax on it.
