  1. Come along on the 5th and see some real motorsport! The real crail event
  2. See Alpina and transporter
  3. Thanks for that P1GGM. Been looking today and in the sub 3k market I have found a lpg cherokee which seemed OK, a 3.1 duty trooper which I will look at later and a lpg 3.9 Vogue which I will look at on Thursday.
  4. I got told that Jeep parts are dead cheap and easy to get from any motor factor. Also you can get a Jeep engine for £500. Rav4 is too small I am afraid.
  5. Something that is coming up is the Crail stages on the 5th November. I usually marshal and there is always room for a few more. Usually get a run on the stages too.
  6. Getting very confused now! Some say old rangies go forever, some say they are money pits. Some say Shoguns are very reliable, some say they are soft and prone to blowing up. Heard some very good things about Cherokees though.
  7. Don't worry m8. We will give you a shout when something is coming up.
  8. We have had a couple of meets at the Snooty Fox in Glenrothes. However we haven't had one this monthe because I couldn't make it and noone stepped into the breach. still at the embryo stage so always open to ideas m8
  9. Right that is it! Mrs Z has hit the roof and there will be hell to pay! Jamie...I don't know how you will survive your next meeting with Yvonne. Cal...You are a dead man walking! Peter..Only your best Chow Mein will get you out of this!
  10. Fee...thanks for the pm. Any idea how much he is looking for and whether it is LPG converted. My pm out doesn't work
  11. Maybe .. pm me details and an email address please.
  12. Fee...How is the Rangie going? i am looking to get a tow car as well.
  13. LPG is very cheap. Does anyone know anyting about the downsides of running a car with LPG?
  14. << More to the point.....what was she doing out of the Kitchen >> She was doing the shopping for the kitchen. You are for it when she reads this Jamie!
  15. Jamie...Disco's were out anyway cos Yvonne can't reach the gear lever. Although I might have cosidered a 7 seater V8 LPG ravs are too small for what I want. I want a LWB to get all the spares and tools in. Thanks for the offer Jamie. I will take you up on that.
  16. Driving back from the shops in the wife's Clio. we are driving through a tricky section with a few tight corners and a narrow bridge that I know very well. Now I wasn't driving fast but I got into the rythymn anyway. So next thing the wife says "Get your left foot OFF the brake!" How many people's spouses watch their feet when driving?
  17. Having a rethink about the Z-fleet and decided that I need a bigger towcar for towing the race cars so I need some advice as I know nothing about 4x4s. There are plenty about and some of the older ones are very cheap but I have no idea about running costs and reliabilty. I was looking at a '93 Shogun V6 with a LPG conversion. Seemed to be the business. All advice welcomed.
  18. Langton watersplash eh Ken? Langton Watersplash 1998
  19. Too much shininess on this thread MUD!
  20. How about a project? I have an Alpina C2 in the garden crying out for a kind owner to restore it to its former glory. It is the best handling road car I have ever driven. Just needs decent brakes. We are not talking a lot of money here either.
  21. Just seen this on the BBC web-site and it has shocked me. How can a state of the art, no expense spared car leave a co-driver vulnerable? What is it about Co-drivers that makes them so vulnerable? There have been two Scottish co-drivers killed in the last two years. I can't remember tha last time a driver was killed.
  22. It is coming up for the last Wednesday of the month and I may or may not get back in time. So who is willing to take the reins for this one? We can move the venue if their is enough interest and agreement. what do you think guys?
  23. Everything normal in Fife. Well by Fife standards
  24. Didn't see it today Jamie. I thought I saw it driving round Cupar about 3 weeks ago. Nice Rangie Vogue though.
  25. Dropped in this morning to get my car checked out and Russ already knew the problem from my post. Car was checked in half an hour and given a clean bill of health for no charge. Thanks to Russ and the boys. PS. There is a nice blue wagon for sale in their yard. Very clean!
