When towing my Pug home tonight the "check engine" light came up on my speedo. we were on the Edinburgh bypass at the time and couldn't stop so we had to drive about 5 miles before it went out. Any ideas?

Just back in and I had a great day. 13th O/A and 7th in class. Some broken fibreglass from hairpin overtaking manoeuvres but nothing like the mangled and bent cars that banged and rolled all day. Nice to meet you Neofox and very nice car!

Tomorrow and it has been raining up here in Fife. Could it be a mudbath in Englandshire?

It was too hot! I was coming out of the car gasping for air and water. The dust was total black out at times and you had to use the force to get round the corners. Unfortunately "It is weak within me"!

What a day! Absolutely scorching and a superb entry. Lots of tight racing on a demanding track and a lot of bumps and scrapes with tow rolled cars! Didn't do too well myself as I fluffed the first start, conked out on the second and couldn't get past a pesky Nova on the 3rd. Johnny's mate Steve from Dunbar seemed to be going pretty well in his Astra. he collected a few dents for his pains as well. Best race of the day was between a rally STi and 2l 4x4 Cavalier. looked up the nadics site and it tells me that there the contraflow will be running at 03:00 to 16:00 on sunday. So how bad is it going to be at 07:30 on a sunday morning?

Heading from Fife to Kelso with the pug on the trailer on Sunday. Will be crossing the bridge southbound about 07:20 on Sunday morning but it will be about 19:00 northbound on the way back. What is the story with roadworks this weekend. Would I be better going via the Kincardine bridge?

Are you servicing for your pal with the Astra Johnny? What time are you leaving as we could meet up somewhere. I like travelling in convoy in case of incidents.

Out agan in the Pug (if I haven't broken it) at East Ord on the banks of the Tweed. Very steep and twisty course with 4 off the line. 3 cars rolled last year and I collected some yellow paint. Serious entry with the NE of England boys up in some very fast cars. Superb spectating and just off the A1 last year some of the competition

Any borderers interested in a bit of spectating could pop along to The Sam Leitch Memorial autocross at Whitmuirhaugh at Sprouston. this was last won two years ago by Jock Threadgall in a scoob. I think he just chucked some chunkies on his road car. I will be out in the Pug 205 mi16 and trying not to swap paint with all and sundry. Come and say hello.

Oh no! There is a huge storm blowing up hear off Shetland and big Atlantic rollers are battering the rig but worst of all. Just heard that winds are approaching 100mph. That is officially Force 12 Hurricane. TODAYS FLIGHTS ARE DELAYED!!! Hoping that it will all go smoothly tomorrow and that I will get back in time.
