i used insulating wrap from Agriemach ltd. (01342 713743). I got 2" by 25ft at £27 and a pack of straps at £5 and that seemed to be enough, i had some left over. My pipe was a twin dump and i wrapped the main pipe and actuator pipe seperately and still had enough.

5cooby, go up the m80, over kincardine bridge and turn left, easy to find. There will prob be a meet at the little theif on the m80 then we'll allhead up en mass. look out for the post m8.

At the mo i'm in the middle of building a gsxr 600, i sold my R6 to buy the scoob but i miss the bike so i got the chance of the gsxr which the owner had dropped for a price i couldn't refuse. It'll do me for playing about on.

I would go for tarox 10 pots with ceramic discs and pads, yours for the not too unreasonable 3k. or upgrade to a second hand set of four pots from a later car about 200 to 350 quid depending on what your getting, i.e calipers alone or with discs and pads. obviously the prices are rough guestimates. If staying with the 2 pots ferodo ds2500 are supposed to be good, i'm running ebc yellowstuff pads but havn't been out on the track yet so i can't comment on these, ok for the road though (when hot)

i would clean these up myself m8. a bit of fine wet and dry on the unpainted surface, a spot of clear laquer and bob's your uncle. (mind mask off the painted areas)
