  1. Missing out on this one , booked on to the sidc track day up the hill
  2. Not everyone is loaded like you though, some people don't have a choice
  3. Sorry m8, i can't help you but have you tried posting in the technical or for sale/wanted sections? I would also try the technical section on scoobynet. Good luck Johnny
  4. How much do these springs lower the car by?
  5. How much more practical can you get? 4 doors, plenty of space and a big boot... nuff said
  6. 1. Matt 2. JohnnyR6
  7. I'm surprised we lasted so long.. i couldn't believe how wet it was, wet enough for me to smoke that evo8 fq 340 Satan, i tried to check out our times but crail's site hasn't been updated since the 3rd.
  8. I'm up for some grub lads.. satan you better not eat, that'll put your times into the 20's
  9. Where did you get the recon 4pots from m8? Sounds like a good price to me
  10. That looks like the cheap fogs calder fit to their cars. Personally i prefer mine under the bumper so i don't need to cut a hole in it. If you still fancy the in bumper light speak to either jvs in edinburgh (powervehicles.com) or calder motors.
  11. Congrats m8, good luck! as long as you don't call the baby scooby or anything..lol
  12. Seen a few things go wrong at crail but never to that extreme...
  13. If your going to the scoobyshootout you should be entering it.
  14. I used to use ava for work on my rs turbo. They are ok with fords but i felt they only wanted to sell you their own products. I took my sti for a r/r run and Alan admetted that they didn't really know scoobs and were just learning ( thought my car had same internals and turbo as a 94 wrx). Anyway as i got on well with them i used them to remove a woodruff key and fit a new cambelt, this took a day and a half and cost me over £460. For fords...ok but scoobs i'd go to dastek.
  15. Cheers for the info guys, i'll see how they perform anyway as i don't have much choice now i've ordered them but i'm getting them for a good price sowe'll see. I'm still on two pots so don't think they will take as much punishment as they would on four pots. If the discs warp it's a good excuse to upgrade..
  16. Hi there, good choice of scoob m8, nothing like jumping in with both feet with a 300 brake scoob.
  17. Hi peeps, just ordered a set of ebc yellowstuff pads, does anyone know if they are any good? I used redstuff and although they were fine they did heat up easily and only lasted two trackdays and 1000 miles road use. I noticed from the bumff from ebc that redstuff are fast road pads and yellowstuff are trackday pads, so i'm hoping they'll take a bit more abuse.. Cheers Johnny
  18. I'm in glasgow m8, at the east end very easy to get to from the m8 or m80. I'll be at crail for the banzai day next sunday if that's any good to you.
  19. If you're brakes are two pots i have a set of gold sti 2 rims with decent tyres. How does £130 sound?
  20. I may do a couple of runs
  21. So it takes god like car control to spin off onto the grass now? maybe one day i'll be skilled enough to try it...
  22. Well guys and gals it's with great regret that i'm gonna have to pull out of this one. Family stuff to do..
