I've used a company called esp a couple of times now and they always seem to be reasonable and do a good job. They are based near port dundas industrial estate.
HI soob the guy wi the R6 if he was pushing it would still be in 3rd with 3 gears to go, my old R6 easily hit 170 and lift the front wheel on acceleration alone.
Grant: name staying as it is, thinking of puting my R6 reg plate on it to confuse all
I'll second that grovit, i've seen the wheels on my focus deteroirate? over the last year or so with regular use of wonder wheels. It gets under the coating and the paint starts to blister. An article in auto express pointed this out too. The strongest agent you should use is washing up liquid as this has a mild acid which removes grime...eventually without damaging the wheels.
I got the battery for my classic from costco. £35 for a bosch silver top, not had a prob since. As it's not listed i phoned an autoparts dealer friend of mine and found it's the same battery as the toyota corolla which was listed.
I'm surprised that jvs wouldn't be interested, have you tried phoning them? Maybe andy is over looking for cars at the mo.
Anyway another option is greersport.. defo worth a call to them.
I know a guy with a transporter who would take it over for a decent price. He took my scoob from glasgow to ava for £30 ( i think). If interested let me know and i'll get the no for ya..
Oh by the way it was before i knew any better (ava i mean)
Also dougster your getting scary showing off your socks like that!!!
I think you should be able to name and shame then others can decide wether or not they would be happy taking their car to said dealers. Maybe someone else would have another opinion about the same dealer as we all hear good and bad stories about most garages. You never know if the dealers get less buisiness maybe they would improve their customers services. ( doubt it but you never know)
