Mine is a uk classic with a Meta alarm system. I've not tried locking with the key then opening with the fob. I'll try that later. All seems ok just now but i'm hoping it is just the battery.

Yeah the key locks all doors. Tried it again tonight and it worked ok. Dunno if it might be the battery in the fob? Maybe not having the power to unlock/lock the doors. Thanks for all the replies. Will keep a close eye on it and just double check my doors are locked! Andy

Was wondering if anyone can help with the following problem. My keb fob locks my car central locking and activates my immobiliser and alarm but as of yesterday when i press the fob only my alarm and immobiliser activates but my doors don't lock. Anyone ever experienced this? Thanks Andy It's a 'classic' by the way.

My drivers side front brake caliper has seized on my 1997 uk classic so it needs replaced. I'm just replacing it with the original type as i can't afford to upgrade to 4 pot. Does anybody know which type i need to order? Cheers Andy

Just realised (after 18 months) that i've been driving around with an 18 inch wiper on my driver's side of the car [:$] Going to replace it with a 21 inch Bosch wiper blade but was wondering if any 21 inch Bosch blade will fit my classic? Hi guys (and gals!) Does anyone have info on the following scenario? If you have 1 car on an insurance policy but have another car on a different policy (from 2 different insurers) can you still use your no-claims discount on your 2nd car/policy? Or is the 2nd car classed as totally new altogether, therefore having to start without any no claims discount? Any help on this would be appreciated.
