Got a similar dilemma. Thinking about selling my car but i know it's not worth much now and is becoming a classic and getting less and less of them about. 2 things that come to mind are dodgy bearing or poor fitting which may have damaged the bearing. The humming is from the bearing having excessive wear but that wouldn.t have been the problem in only 500 miles. Not good though. Johnny

I would be wary about using an import ecu in a uk car without having it mapped to suit. Also i doubt you'd notice any difference without mapping. You can get the v2 ecu mapped which will give more power safely. I would convert it back if your car was running fine on the original ecu and speak to andy f about the best option for you. Johnny.

If your not going mad an exedy stage 1 organic would do. But if your going over 350 i would be looking at a paddle clutch. Coulty on here uses an ap (iirc) and its quite civilised. PM him and i'm sure he'll give you the details. Johnny
