  1. You mean the ones now residing on my car? The ones that are staying on my car now?? Johnny Had this car for over 6 years now, Time for a change?? Old wheels.
  2. Well turned out to be better than expected. Can't remember colin's times but with the niggles (and diff sorted) i'm sure there is more to come. I'm sure he'll post em up soon. Good banter all round with a great atmosphere. Well done guys for organising this. Johnny
  3. And then some. It's going very well at the mo. Johnny
  4. Actually i forgot about coulty's so that makes 6.
  5. So including myself there are 5... They are getting rare. Johnny
  6. How many folk on here drive a pre facelift classic sti? (sti 1 or 2) I've noticed at meets and around the roads they seem to be getting less and less. Just thinking ahead.. Johnny
  7. I posted this in the wanted section but thought i'd try here aswell as i need this asap. I'm looking for the intercooler pipe from a 95 sti, it's the lower one going from the turbo to intercooler. I'm sure the v1 is the same. Cheers, Johnny

  9. I S'pose i am a bit attatched to it john. I've had it 6 years now and it's never let me down, even on track or at crail. Johnny.
  10. Got a similar dilemma. Thinking about selling my car but i know it's not worth much now and is becoming a classic and getting less and less of them about. So do i let it go for not much cash, trade it in or keep it and put it away? Can't decide. although 1 thing i know it i certainly won't let it be scrapped. Johnny
  11. i s'pose its a bit like an automatic bung. Doesn't look too efficient though. Johnny
  12. 2 things that come to mind are dodgy bearing or poor fitting which may have damaged the bearing. The humming is from the bearing having excessive wear but that wouldn.t have been the problem in only 500 miles. Not good though. Johnny
  13. i'm with Arch... at least 600 with a bit of lightening. Johnny
  14. I would be wary about using an import ecu in a uk car without having it mapped to suit. Also i doubt you'd notice any difference without mapping. You can get the v2 ecu mapped which will give more power safely. I would convert it back if your car was running fine on the original ecu and speak to andy f about the best option for you. Johnny.
  15. V6 type r limited. Johnny
  16. No, you'll be fine changing the pulleys. Johnny
  17. You wouldn't happen to be near a phone mast would you? A few guys have had starting issues when parked next to them. Something to do with the immobiliser iirc. Johnny.
  18. Congrats dude! Although you do realise life as you know it is now over.... Worth it though Johnny
  19. Noticed that myself, i read somewhere that a price war is starting between some of the big names, maybe thats happening. Johnny
  20. I'll be up but prob as spanner man... Lets hope it's dry, should be fun. Johnny
  21. If you like old skool escorts you'll like this hillclimb action... Johnny
  22. Another prob could be the maf. Once it had done it does it happen again if you keep your foot down? Also do you have a boost gauge to see what boost your hitting? Johnny.
  23. I wouldn't worry about it, if it's clean and goes like it should just enjoy it. For the record my car was originally logged as a white 22b uk spec??? Dvla for ya. Johnny
  24. If your not going mad an exedy stage 1 organic would do. But if your going over 350 i would be looking at a paddle clutch. Coulty on here uses an ap (iirc) and its quite civilised. PM him and i'm sure he'll give you the details. Johnny
  25. If your sticking with a scoob: http://bbs.scoobynet.com/private-sale-gene...sap-offers.html or for fun: http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1212471.htm Johnny
